I had a good time fishing with Cpt. Arrow. He did everything possible to get fish on the boat. We caught some nice Bonita and a Mahi Mahi. We also came across dolphins, whales and even a killer whale (Orca) while fishing. It was a very exciting trip.

Capt. Arrow allowed us to set the the locations on this trip.  We told him what we wanted and asked for suggestions s.  We did everything we wanted. Snorkeling, Arches, fishing and saw whales two times! We saw manta ray and dolphins!  Very accommodating.  Thanks for the great day!  See ya next week

Captain took us in multiple spots and we used different techniques. He wasn’t going to allow a slow day of fishing and demanded they get in the boat. Very funny and personable. Excellent English for foreign visitors.

Captain Luis initially went out of his way to pick us up in Nuevo Vallarta but arrived half an hour late.  We began trolling right out of the harbor and got into some very small fish, which for a six year old was very exciting, but for an experienced fisherman was pretty dull.  I figured that we would make a better effort to find fish but we really never got more than a mile or so away from the mouth of the harbor.  The last hour of the trip was spent working our way the mile or so back from the mouth of rio ameca, and they seemed more interested in dropping us off than trying to find a fish larger than bait.  We arrived twenty minutes early, which when combined with the twenty minutes of late, cut our trip short by almost a quarter.  Captain Luis was a really nice guy who spoke very good English, and he and his deckhand were professional and competent with a nice boat and equipment.  I just wish that our trip was not so hurried.  I know that you can never predict the fishing, but inshore trips in banderas bay should range much further than a mile from harbor if that isn’t were any any larger fish are.  A better effort to move around and find fish, especially after being late would have been appreciated. I wish Captain Luis the best of luck.
