Wonderful weather and great support from Captain Bobby Smith and the First Mate made for a lovely trip on our annual vacation to OBX for our family. Our goal was to catch enough for our dinner, and there were plenty of Spanish mackerels and Bluefish caught, and so that goal was met, with all fish cleaned by our son-in-law and then the remainder vacuum sealed and frozen for the trip home. Even our experienced fisherman (son-in-law) was pleased. And the kids (two 10-year-olds) had a great time “working” the rods to bring in fish. Saw a huge shark that came alongside the boat for a brief instant! Boat was clean, well maintained—very important! Easy booking online, and final payment at the marina. Recommend highly, especially for kids.

There were 6 of us (ages 47, 21, 17, and 18) and we all caught about 20 Ribbonfish and about 8 Spanish Mackerel in about 3 hours. They put us on a bunch of fish. The captain and mate were awesome and we’ll forgive the mate for being a Carolina Hurricanes fan, go Sabres! The Oregon Inlet Staff was able to recommend a place (Sugar Shack) to get our fish cooked before taking it back to our rental and it was great. All around great experience and would recommend Fish-N-Fool. We’ll definitely book again next year.

My family had a great time even when the ocean wasn’t cooperating! Spending a few hours on the sound catching fish, although small, was a nice way to spend the morning! Captain Bobby and his crew were so nice and helpful!!  Thank you!!!
