We came in March (dry season) and wanted to target a rooster fish. We were able to find a nice one pretty quickly despite weeks of poor rooster fishing in the previous weeks. We also caught about 10 nice grouper reef fishing, and picked up a monster wahoo while trolling. Great crew and boat overall.

We went off shore for an hour than started fishing unfortunately water was a little too rough to catch anything. Than trolled for a couple more hours but only ended up catching one tuna. Wife wasn’t feeling the best so came back in to calmer waters and swam for an hour. Most beautiful sights I have ever seen el lupo and his crew went above and beyond and were amazing!

We had the best day with the Lupo crew. Carlos put us on YF tuna right out of the gate. Once we had more than we could eat he took us for sailfish and we landed/released one. We asked ahead and they stop for us to snorkel on the way home while they prepared sashimi for us.

My wife and kids had never caught fish before so this was definitely out of their comfort zone. We also had some rough seas. Carlos recognized this and let us catch some bait fish and slowly worked us off shore to Catalina island. Everything caught multiple black tuna. Very memorable trip, thanks!
