The fishing trip was a gift for my brother’s birthday and as he put it, it was an amazing one. He and my sister-in-law are passionate fishers but until this trip have only fished on lakes and rivers. Suffice to say we had an amazing day and we caught a lot of fish. Captain and first mate were great at make it happen. My brother was elated. We had three kids with us, 10, 12 and 12 and they seemed to have a lot of fun too even though they didn’t try their hand at fishing. I’m not a fisher myself but I had a nice day out on the water and took a way too many photos. We caught two types of sharks, lots of stingrays of different sizes, halibut and rock fish. It truly was a day to remember.

David and Neil are not only experts in their profession but also genuine, down to earth, good people. We booked a half day charter for my dad as a Father’s Day gift and spent 5 hours out in the bay fishing for halibut. We got to see historic Bay Area sights all while catching enough fish to feed a small army. While at sea, Neil’s encyclopedic knowledge of the area was informative and impressive, all while sharing laughs along the way. David was communicative and determined to ensure our family had the best experience possible while doing initial planning for the trip as well as when we were on the boat looking for fish. I cannot recommend warrior poet sport fishing enough, and we will be sure to book again soon.

Second time we went out fishing with David and Neal. They are just great people and my sons and me enjoyed the afternoon so much. Saw a lot of the bay and tried several spots for Halibut. After we got no catch we went out of the bay and changed to rock fishing. That was real fun and the spot with the Golden Gate Bridge in the back just amazing. Everybody caught a rockfish and we even got one sturgeon. They didn’t mind the extra time it took, had no hurry to head back and made sure everybody was successful and happy. We will come back for sure on our next trip to San Francisco!

It was mine and my son’s first time out. Our captain Neil was super knowledgeable and all around great guy. We didn’t have a big catch day but it’s the nature of the beasts. My son caught a skate fish which was an awsome experience for him. Definitely going back in the summer. Thanks guys the trip was awsome!

My sons and I go charter fishing whenever we go on any vacation. This was one of our best trips ever! Captain Dave and Neil were great guys, expert knowledge and were great with my kids. Large boat with cabin, bathroom, drinks and snacks. Feels like he could easily accommodate 10 passengers so you have a lot of space to move. Has been captaining for 15 years in this area. We were fish for all six hours, started off with six bass, halibut. We relocated looking for a little bit bigger stuff, caught 3 stingrays, 3 4ft leopard sharks, hound shark, and a 4ft shovel nosed guitar fish (rare). In all 18 nice sized fish in 6hr inshore trip. Kids were extremely happy 👍 even took a min to get near to some sea lions for a pic. Highly recommend!!
