Easy to book the trip, reasonably priced. Crew did help with baiting and taking off fish as needed. Boat can hold up to 26, so glad that we only had 12.Gave us more room to move around. I do believe that 26 would be too many and not allow ease of movement.Caught several grouper but unable to keep since not in season. Wish we knew prior to trip. Mostly lane fish caught with the exception of one porgy one mutton and a small shark.Overall a fun experience for my 3 grandsons first time saltwater fishing.Bring your own small rag to make it easier to grasp fish.

Best deal in Key West! My wife and I are relatively beginner fishers and we couldn’t recommend the Salty Goat more. If you’re looking for a fun half day on the water with the chance to catch some awesome fish, AND take your catch to a local restaurant to eat, book this now.

We booked the 5 hour trip and Captain Dan was welcoming from the start, helped us get the fish that were tough to unhook off and brought us to 5+ spots to find different fish. They run a “biggest fish kept” pool where you can choose to put in 5$ and the winner takes the pot and my wife won that day by catching a 23 inch Mutton Snapper.  One person also caught a Blacktip Shark AND a baby Hammerhead (which we released of course). 

When you get back to the dock, then clean and filet anything you caught, and you can feed the Tarpon that are waiting at the dock with the leftovers, super fun.

It’s also BYOB and food. We brought our fish to Dante’s (Conch Republic also does this) and they cooked our catch (choice of blacked, grilled or fried…we always go blackened) for 10$ a pound per person, which was only $21 in total, and we could barely finish it! Would definitely go back again :)

Overall great time! The crew were super helpful and knowledgeable, we caught lots of fish, everything was cleaned promptly and really have no complaints. The boat was a little tight on space at times but not unbearable.

The staff was amazing and we had a great time. This was our first time doing a fishing trip while in Key West and we will definitely book again next year when we come back. Thank you for a great trip today!

My friends/ family and I had a blast!! Most of us caught something.  The crew was super friendly and funny.  Cool people to go out fishing with.  Overall it was a great time
