If you are looking for a family friendly trip, a Happy Guide that doesn’t yell at you, and lots of fish ....then this trip is for you! We had the best day on the water today started out strong with a ton of Peacock Bass,then finished strong with great sized Clown Knife fish ! We caught each fish on our bucket list capt John set out to find all the bucket list fish and we did it! It was a blast and we will definitely go back again next time we visit FL! Captain John was knowledgeable and found us the best spots to catch a ton a Peacock bass and some Mayan cichlid. Me and my friend caught about 10 but I missed like 7 bites since I sucked ass at setting the hooks at first.  These fish fight hard and are a blast

My son and I had a wonderful time fishing with John today! He was super patient with us while we got a feel for the bite of the peacocks on live bait. He is a true expert on the lake and the species. We caught several large males and a few females, as well as some stripers, a largemouth, and a colorful Mayan cichlid. He was extremely efficient with our time throughout the six-hour trip, and I’d gladly fish with him again.

Lake Ida is an amazing spot and Jurassic Park Fishing Charters knows where to go. The conditions were far from perfect with it being 60, windy and rainy but Captain John put me on the fish. I completed a Lake Ida Slam catching a dozen peacock bass (including a 5 pounder), mayan cichlid, largemouth bass, and clown knifefish. I’ll definitely recommend Captain John to anyone looking to fish in Florida.

My family and I came down to Delray for new years and decided we wanted to do a quick fishing trip. I decided to go with captain John because of all the great reviews listed.
