You'll be fishing on a 2022 20' Avid Boats bay boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This boat is powered by a Yamaha Vmax SHO engine and a wireless trolling motor. The best thing is that it takes only a few minutes to reach your fishing spot and start enjoying your trip.
Capt. John is an expert when it comes to catching Clown Knife Fish, Peacock Bass, and Snakehead. You can also go after Largemouth Bass, Crappie, and Hybrid Striped Bass. Choose if you want to target them using light tackle or fly fishing gear. Another advantage you have fishing with this charter
All fishing equipment is covered by the captain but feel free to bring your own if you want. He'll also prepare bottled water but feel free to bring other beverages and snacks. It's recommended to have your hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses with you.

we had a amazing day on the water, tried for peacocks in the morning but unfortunately due to high water we couldnt get any but capt immediately switched gears and put us on the snakehead almost instantly, cant wait to come back again and hopefully catch even more
As if catching a ton of fish was not enough, Capt John was amazing. I have done a ton of charters and there is always the chance of catching or not catching, but one thing remains constant regardless. You couldn’t ask for a better host/ captain to spend the day with. That is what I enjoy and is important to me. And Capt John is right up there with the top Captains I have ever went out with. Oh, btw we caught over 25 peacocks and also some largemouth and crappie. Thanks John. Keep up the good work and will definitely be coming back to go out with you fishing in the future.
Had a great time aboard Capt. John’s boat! First time fishing for South Florida exotics and Capt. John put us on several Mayan Cichlids and peacock bass! My son caught a nice Peacock which was the highlight of the trip! Capt. John had plenty of live bait on board for us and kept fresh bait on our hooks all morning!
Although we only caught a a few fish, Captain John was very knowledgeable on these waters he took us to the fish and we saw what we were after, but something had the bite turned off assuming it was the previous weather. Fun experience for what it was hope to get back out in the future when the fish are biting.
I took my 13 year old grandson out today on Captain John’s boat, and he caught 3 hybrid stripers with his first 3 casts. After that he caught one more, and then we changed locations and he caught a clown knife fish. Beautiful morning of fishing, Captain John was a great guide and very knowledgeable and kind . Couldn’t have hoped for a better fishing experience!
