We had an absolutely amazing trip with John. we were immediately put on the fish and had our limit of reds by 8 am. We then relocated and got our limit on black drum, and for a bonus even got a few trout. Could not ask for more. Very knowledgeable Captain and kept things fun and exciting. Will definitely book again.

My first personal experience booking a guide; Captain John was fantastic! Good conversation, informative and fun. Between my daughter and I, we limited it out on specks which was a grind today but John made it happen. Landed 3 really nice slot reds and really could have limited out as we broke off two and the the third spot the hook. I highly recommend booking and I plan to spring of next year!

Captain Wood is an excellent guide.  We’ve been fishing for many many years and never did we catch as many fish as we did with captain Wood!  It was a very fun and exciting time!  I’ve recommended him to my friends and they will be calling him to book their next fishing trip.  Thank you Captain for your professionalism and for teaching us several new techniques on catching fish!  It was a blast!

Captain John is a friendly guide who makes sure everyone lands a catch even if the fish aren’t behaving. Great communication and directions to find the wharf, everyone in the group had a great time and John was patient with our amateur fishing skills. Highly recommend for all groups experienced to those just wanting to just get out on the water.

This is the first salt water fishing for our grandson. It ended up he was the winer among four of us. He limited out his trouts, he got a lady fish, a baby shark, some cat fish, and a crab! He was so excited! Captain John helped a lot for the little boy. We are very grateful that captain John made our grandson’s first ever fishing trip very memorable!
