Capt John is an excellent guide. I have been on 3 dozen guided trips in north America and John was one of the best we have had. Friendly, knowledgeable, and he put us on fish right away. He was also at the ramp waiting for us 100% ready to go. We parked the truck. jumped on the boat, and took off immediately. We will be back to fish with Capt. John again.

We had an absolutely amazing trip with John. we were immediately put on the fish and had our limit of reds by 8 am. We then relocated and got our limit on black drum, and for a bonus even got a few trout. Could not ask for more. Very knowledgeable Captain and kept things fun and exciting. Will definitely book again.

We had an exceptional trip.  The boat was nice and the equipment was top notch.  We were staying in a house on the bay which was on the way to fishing ground so Captain John offered to pick us up at our pier.  We caught our limit of trout and then switched to reds.  Caught a few reds with a nice keeper.  He brought us back to our pier at the end of the trip and cleaned and packaged the fish.  It was a great trip and we will book again with Captain John when we return to Rockport!

He started trolling the shoreline and had us on two different schools of tailing redfish. 2nd trip, look forward to a 3rd.

I have signed up with Captain John now several times and each time / season I have not been disappointed.  Always filled my limit very, very quickly and always top notch service, domain knowledge and what I may have enjoyed the miost, great, great conversation while waiting for those big ones to bite!  A++++++
