I had a great time fishing with Hook 1 Charters. We had very difficult conditions with a worm hatch the night before that fed nearly every fish in the area. We also faced a full moon bringing in very high tides and winds from a storm. Capt. Chandler worked his tail off trying to put me on fish. In spite of the odds being against us, we caught fish. Had the angler , (me), cooperated better, we would’ve caught many more. If you want a guide that’s patient with his angler and will work very hard to find you fish, you would be wise to book a trip with Capt. Chandler Williams and Hook 1 Charters.

All I can say is Chandler is one of the best Captains I have ever fished with. Period!!! The amount of trouble that he went through to make sure we had an enjoyable day on the water was over the top!  First off, we had terrible weather for our scheduled trip and Chandler was able to reschedule us for the next day. He went as far as trailering his boat 30 miles north to a different key to try and stay out of the wind. Unfortunately, it was still very windy and difficult to sight fish on the flats, but I had my chances to land one or two bonefish and tarpon, but I came up empty. We did pick away at some smaller fish later in the day. All in all, I highly recommend fishing with Chandler. For all of the other fake “fishermen” who left a poor review. They have no idea what they are talking about. This guy works his butt off to put his charters in a place to catch fish. I can’t wait for my next trip with Chandler, he is the only captain I will fish with in the Keys!

Chandler wants to catch fish! His drive to get you on fish is non stop. We made a longer run than he wanted cause he knew the permit would be there. I wanted to check the permit box! Quick stop a a tarpon hole and holy shit we’re looking for the grand slam. One shot a bone and I blew it. If you want a real guide that can drive a flats boat and keep searching, Chandler is your guy! Cheese and crackers stay home!

I went out with Capt. Chandler for an inshore evening trip that turned out to be one of the best trips I’ve taken in Florida. We ended up catching Snook, Big Redfish, Tarpon, Snapper, and hooked some sharks in the end. If you’re looking to actually catch fish with someone who is passionate and knowledgeable, you have to book a trip with Capt. Chandler. It’s a very affordable price for what can be a trip of a lifetime. I’ve been fishing all my life and can promise you, you will not be disappointed, just book it!
