It was a beautiful day the captain knew where to find the fish and his 1st mate kept the poles ready as we was getting 2-4 hits at a time

The state of VA shutdown Cobia but Have no fear…Cap Rob got us on some fish and we caught our limit. Great time had by all even the fan back home!!!

This is by far and wide the best charter fishing trip I have ever organized or been on.  Robbie and Ryan were a great team to work with, they were organized, knowledgeable and personable when searching for cobia in late August. Not an easy fish to catch I have been on no more than eight trips with not one in the bag – this time was different.  We had quite a few opportunities and a couple in the bag to wear off the skunk. The team employed all of their tools and network to keep us in the fish for pretty much the entire day, and also went out of their way to make up for For a slow morning.  Their current boat is a little tight for four people plus crew but we were only two which made for a great amount of space. There is talk of upgrading the boat to a larger one next year.  highly highly highly recommend!

Great trip! Went 10 of 11 on cobia hookups, harvested a 48, 45, n 42 incher. Spotted plenty more sight fishing that wouldn’t cooperate or got spooked up to 80 - 90lbs.  Wife n daughter said they must have seen 100+ dolphins out that day with a few right next to the boat. Son said it was one of the best fishing we have been on. The boat is a little smaller than I normally fish off, but plenty of room for 4 anglers since the captain n mate spend most of their time on the fly bridge scouting for fish. Only minor complaint I have is that when it got a little slower in the afternoon is that they should have had the trolling poles out the back. We had one out earlier, but it got bit off n they never put it back out. It would have been nice to catch some other species for the experience. But for cobia A+. Thanks guys for a great trip.

If you want the feel of a corporate type business excursion then this isn’t the trip for you. This is a laid back fishing trip with people that are good and down to earth. I always felt welcomed. We all caught fish but my father, so Captain Robbie kept prowling the waters long after our 6 hours were up just so he could hook a fish. Most companies wouldn’t go that extra mile but he did. First mate Luke was extreamly helpful and polite. Couldn’t have asked for nicer people.  I highly recommend a trip with this company and I also recommend the longer trips. Time goes by so fast and you need every minute to hook the big one.
