We’ve been coming to NSB since the 1980s, but this was a first fishing trip for us and WORTH EVERY MINUTE! Captain Jordan and First Mate Nick are the consummate fishermen, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, fun, and kid-friendly. Within the first few minutes out, we were reeling in local reef fish, and by the last hour of our morning trip, our 13-year-old was working hard, pulling in several small sharks (with a little support from Captain Jordan and Nick, admittedly…). This dynamic duo answered all of our newbie questions from working the rods to what types of fish we were catching, gave us options on where we could go, shared recipes on how to cook shark, and were attuned to everyone in our family, even politely leaving one of us to privately “toss breakfast” overboard after a Dramamine failure. All in, these guys work hard but are also laid back and we had a fantastic morning at sea, complete with front-row seats to a host of Floridian sea life, including a huge sea turtle, dolphins, and a hammerhead shark, who toyed with us for a few minutes, and great views of Daytona and New Smyrna Beach coastline. We will DEFINITELY be booking more trips for our family on future visits! THANK YOU guys for a memorable first fishing trip out—and BTW, the shark bites were bussin’ (per our son)...

We booked this last minute as we only had a certain timeframe available to do this, and Jordan was very accommodating. Weather was insane initially, which made for very rough seas due to high wind and rain. Not going to lie, it was an awesome part of the trip. Boat handled the storm flawlessly. After the storm moved through we caught lots of trout and croakers. Then caught a few large sharks. They were everywhere at one point. We had a 10ft+ Hammerhead all the way to the boat when it decided it had enough and made a hard run eventually breaking the line. Also landed a great Blacktip Shark.  All and all we had a great time with Jordan, and we will be back.

We booked a four hour trip with Jordan and Troy, that I would rate a 10 star, but they only had 5!
They put us on a massive 52 inch king and two blacknose sharks.
Great conversation, great tunes and great times!

Fantastic Mahi experience with Captain Jordan for a day of Gulf Stream fishing. He got us to the perfect spot, so we were getting double hits every pass - with my husband and I both reeling in our catches simultaneously. Captain Jordan and First Mate Nick did an amazing job of keeping our lines ready and assisting with the monster catches to be sure we got them in the boat!

Would recommend Captain Jordan (Central Florida Fishing Charters) without hesitation. We are already starting to plan our next outing with him 😉

Tough day fishing for many other boats but Jordan kept pushing his marks and we caught some of our best fish. Great Captain and mate. Will definitely book Jordan and Central Florida Fishing Charters again.
