  Honest captain, Vancouver Fishing

  Had a great trip with captain Speed. Beautiful scenery the entire time. Snow capped mountains, great seas, good company, and some good fishing. Pricing was considerably less than Vancouver city pricing verus guides around Granville Island, but a short 15 or so minute drive north. Captain Speed knew the area, put us on the fish, views of the area were beyond beautiful, worked hard the entire time, and was good company. But most importantly, he was an honest business owner and fisherman. I had over booked our trip last minute and he was quick to point out it might not be what I expected, and talked himself out of a few hours of fishing. His honesty alone made us stay the whole day. If you are looking for a great fishing experience, magnificent views, and an honest captain to steer you right on a Vancouver area fisging trip, call Captain Speed.

  fun fishing

  Even though we only got to keep one, everyone had an opportunity to catch a few. Captain Chris knows the area well and worked hard to make sure we brought in some fish. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend Built for Speed to other anglers.

  fantastic experiance , Chris knows his way around and put me on the fish. it was everything id looked forward to and more. i couldve stayed out all day. 10/10 would recommend!

  Great day on the water with Chris Speed

  Half Day/5Hours 4people on August 6, 2026 • 4 adults

  We had a half day with four and landed a nice keeper coho in the first half hour. We landed about four more nice ones that we had to release and two more keepers. Also got a couple small chinook that were reeased. Overall beautiul weather and a great day with a super captain. i would recommend this trip to anyone.

  A great day out on the water

  Chris was very experienced and knowledgeable. He knew how to fish the area and didn’t waste a minute getting the gear out. He worked very hard to find the right lures and bait and successfully enabled us to catch Chinook and Coho. Can’t wait to go fishing again, with captain Chris.
