  But the fishing board need to change the size of the fish, A 4 to 5 man charter boat is only going out to maybe 75 fr deep but we were 35 ft deep and the biggest fish is 16 inches. So you're just catching and releasing not getting anything this is my 5 trip this year and only caught fish on 1 boat Massachusetts. NJ is not catching anything you have to go deeper water to catch bigger fish they might catch 2 or 3 if they spurring or lost but I don't completely blame the captain but if you're going to take 400 or more plus tips we need to catch some fish so they need to reduce the size because it's a scam in a way . Somebody is making money

  Great first time fishing experience with the family

  Michael was a great captain for my family’s first time fishing together, took us to a bunch of different spots and we ended up catching a good amount of fish altogether, mostly flounder as that was the main fish around at the time. Unfortunately didn’t get to catch anything big enough to take home with us but we were happy to at least have caught stuff in general. Gave good instructions, untangled our lines and helped us when we needed it, overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend. Only thing I’d suggest is look into what fish are around at certain times and how many and consider that for your plans, overall would definitely fish with captain Michael again.

  OUTSTANDING Experience!

  Michael was phenomenal as a captain with his patience in teaching me as a first time fisher but also his knowledge and engagement with my boyfriend who is experienced. We went to multiple locations around the bay. I kid you not as soon as my lure hit the water, no more than 2 minutes passed that I caught my first fish - a flounder. My boyfriend even caught a baby shark! I would highly recommend booking with A-Bomb Fishing Charters!!! 11/10 stars!!!

  Captain Mike and his first mate gave us a trip to remember! They had everything ready to roll on time, had all the active fishing spots picked out, helped with trouble shooting our lines and kept things moving! The boat was clean and Mike really did a great job prepping before hand. We ended up catching two fish and they even filleted them for us. Highly recommend this crew for your trip.

  Great day out in Atlantic City

  3 Hour Mixed Fishing Trip (PM) on August 14, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 child

  Fishing with Mike was a great experience for myself and my 11 year old. We did the 3 hour near ocean trip. We had a blast. Mike is super relaxed and professional. He handled all the details and all we had to do was catch fish. Once we got back home we made the most fantastic flounder sandwiches with our catch. This was a memorable day that my 11 year old will always remember. Our family is already talking about booking again with Mike at A bomb charters.
