Booked the 3 hour afternoon trip with Captain Mike on the back bays. It was perfect for us because we had two kids (6 and 8) with us. Mike was great with the kids too, very encouraging, explained what it was we were doing, very patient to listen to 350 questions about bait and lures. He ran the whole trip himself and took us to a bunch of hot spots where we found lots of flounder. Highly recommend.

We were not sure what to expect for the fishing trip but Captain Mike definitely made it enjoyable and entertaining. We drove all the way from philly and had some of the best fishing time ever. The boat is tidy and well-equiped. Mike is knowledgable and helps with sailing and fishing, the hooking and bait. We eventaully caught around 25 flounders, 1 sea robbin and ONE BABY SHARK!!! Our day with A Bomb Fishing Charter was nothing short of spectacular. Captain Mike provided us with the best fishing experience we’ve ever had. Captain Mike is simply a really good captain. He knows how to find the fish and he’s easy to talk to. He knows his gear and he works great with kids as well as adults. We had a great day in the water. I highly recommend him as a former mate myself.

Captian Mike was highly recommended and we couldn’t agree more! We are new to fishing and Mike taught us so much. He was wonderful with our 7 year old, and clearly put “safety as number one and catching fish as number two”. We caught 11 or so fish (multiple flounder, a ray, and some other cool species).
