When you book a trip on A-Bomb Fishing Charters, you’re going to have fun and you’ll be on the fish. Captain Mike Adams will show you the tips and tricks he has learned over his 20+ years of experience fishing in these waters and give you the best chance at catching keepers.
Whether you’re a first-timer, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, this is the charter for you. The “A-Bomb” is spacious enough for as many as 6 passengers but trips are limited to 5 guests in the bay and 4 on ocean trips so everyone has plenty of room to fish. The boat is equipped with a Minn Kota Trolling motor and runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine. Cruising at speeds over 30mph we can quickly get to and from the fishing spots.
Capt. Mike provides several options regarding fishing locations depending on the season, such as back bay, inlet locations, inshore, and nearshore spots with wreck and reef hotspots. Fishing in Atlantic City is almost year-round, but not all species are always available. Depending on the season, you’ll target delicious Flounder, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Shark, Ray, Weakfish, Bluefish, and more.
Families with children are welcome and you don’t have to worry about preparing for the trip. The charter covers your New Jersey fishing license, and we provide you with the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait. Any legal sized in season fish, you can choose to keep the catch or release it. The captain or crew will clean, fillet and bag your fish at the end of the trip.

Great Experience

Great time catching fish!
I had an outstanding experience on this fishing charter. The captain was professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. The boat was clean and well-prepared, and we caught plenty of fish throughout the day. It was a perfect balance of fun and professionalism, and I left with both great memories and a full cooler. I highly recommend this charter and will definitely be returning.

Great communication
Our fishing trip was great, but captain Micheal had some really good communication with us and was timely to all our messages. We experienced some unexpected car trouble and captain Micheal was willing to work with us to make the trip still work (even if we ended up being able to keep our original plan) which was very kind of him! Overall it was great - everyone had a good time - and I am sure everyone always says it could have been longer and we could have caught more fish! (Just because everything was so great)

As soon as the captain spot locked the boat and we put our lines out we started catching and feeling bites. we were doing the mixed back bay going for tautog. I caught 7, my brother caught 5, and my mom got 7 as well. No keepers but all decent and fun fights and fish. We caught toadfish and a keeper 6.8lb Sheepshead which the captain filleted for us. Had a great time and definitely recommend.

We booked a fishing trip with Captain Michael as a Father’s Day gift for my dad, and it couldn’t have been better. Captain Michael was friendly, knowledgeable, and had us catching fish right away.
