Whether you're a first-timer, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, this is the charter for you. The 'A-Bomb' is spacious enough for as many as 6 passengers but trips are limited to 5 guests in the bay and 4 on ocean trips so everyone has plenty of room to fish. The boat is equipped with a Minn Kota Trolling motor and runs on a 250 HP Yamaha engine. Cruising at speeds over 30mph we can quickly get to and from the fishing spots.
Capt. Mike provides several options regarding fishing locations depending on the season, such as back bay, inlet locations, inshore, and nearshore spots with wreck and reef hotspots. Fishing in Atlantic City is almost year-round, but not all species are always available. Depending on the season, you'll target delicious Flounder, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Shark, Ray, Weakfish, Bluefish, and more.
Families with children are welcome and you don't have to worry about preparing for the trip. The charter covers your New Jersey fishing license, and we provide you with the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait. Any legal sized in season fish, you can choose to keep the catch or release it. The captain or crew will clean, fillet and bag your fish at the end of the trip.

But the fishing board need to change the size of the fish, A 4 to 5 man charter boat is only going out to maybe 75 fr deep but we were 35 ft deep and the biggest fish is 16 inches. So you're just catching and releasing not getting anything this is my 5 trip this year and only caught fish on 1 boat Massachusetts. NJ is not catching anything you have to go deeper water to catch bigger fish they might catch 2 or 3 if they spurring or lost but I don't completely blame the captain but if you're going to take 400 or more plus tips we need to catch some fish so they need to reduce the size because it's a scam in a way . Somebody is making money
Michael was a great captain for my family’s first time fishing together, took us to a bunch of different spots and we ended up catching a good amount of fish altogether, mostly flounder as that was the main fish around at the time. Unfortunately didn’t get to catch anything big enough to take home with us but we were happy to at least have caught stuff in general. Gave good instructions, untangled our lines and helped us when we needed it, overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend. Only thing I’d suggest is look into what fish are around at certain times and how many and consider that for your plans, overall would definitely fish with captain Michael again.
Fishing with Mike was a great experience for myself and my 11 year old. We did the 3 hour near ocean trip. We had a blast. Mike is super relaxed and professional. He handled all the details and all we had to do was catch fish. Once we got back home we made the most fantastic flounder sandwiches with our catch. This was a memorable day that my 11 year old will always remember. Our family is already talking about booking again with Mike at A bomb charters.
captain Michael was great. we opted for the early morning inland 4hr fishing trip. family had a lot of fun & caught over 30 fish with one keeper that we took home & ate. doesn’t get much better than that. we will definitely be back & out with Captain Michael. highly recommend to other familys great value.
Michael was phenomenal as a captain with his patience in teaching me as a first time fisher but also his knowledge and engagement with my boyfriend who is experienced. We went to multiple locations around the bay. I kid you not as soon as my lure hit the water, no more than 2 minutes passed that I caught my first fish - a flounder. My boyfriend even caught a baby shark! I would highly recommend booking with A-Bomb Fishing Charters!!! 11/10 stars!!!
