Rod was very friendly and easy going. But he was also very skilled at knowing where the fish were at what time that would give us the best chance of hooking fish. He was extremely helpful when it came to reeling in and landing the fish. We loved the covered part of the boat because the weather became a little bit windy and choppy for a while, and that provided a refuge from the wind. You can do as much or as little as you want. Rod is always there to help, and has plenty of patience when asked a lot of questions, or when showing/guiding newbies on how to reel in a fish. He goes the extra mile in trying to get your goal.

It was a little bumpy today and caused some seasickness. Fishing was good and we had a good time overall.
