The views were special and the weather ideal but the fish were busy doing something else. The deckhand was awesome, Nathan Brown, very personable, engaging and helpful. As we were heading back to the island, we hooked a small Mahi Mahi so we were using every moment of our time to fish. We must have used so much time for trolling because when we arrived at the dock the captain had to drop and go so I’m not sure what we would have done if we had caught several bigger fish! I get that it’s fishing, and not catching. I’ve been on a LOT of fishing charters, and this crew was average, at best. Capt. was ok. First Mates answer to everything was, “you’ll have to ask the captain”.  We got a few bites, but the mates were slow to set hooks. Saw more half- eaten ballyhoo, than whole Mahi. Overall, average 1/2 day fishing trip.
