Captain Andrew Lasky has been fishing lakes and rivers as well as the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans for 20 years. He's had a passion for fishing over his entire career. After attending the University of Wisconsin, Captain Andrew changed career paths to follow his passion for fishing and has been running boats for different clients over the years. The captain holds a USCG Master Captain's License. He's a student of the game and loves to teach people that are new to fishing the ropes of how to catch and find fish on their own.     Snagging a Yellow tail in the 9th inning

    5 Hour Coastline Trip (AM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    This was a great trip where we started by catching some bait and tried some yellow to then lead to some rock cod and sheep head. multiples for some fish tacos and a Tellow on our way back slow trilling. Great team on board. thanks Ace and Andrew!

    Had a successful day out on the waters! Landed countless Calico Bass, couple barracudas, and Mack’s…..literally stopped counting after 15 minutes into it. Both the captain Andrew and Ace navigated us safely to the prime spots, kept the bait on the hooks going for us and even put us over some sea bass which my teenage son got to reel in a 27 inch Sea Bass. Great charter experience and Andrew and Ace are great guys and very knowledgeable, highly recommend the AWOL charter! Fish On! 🎣

    SALE!!! Mexico Deep Sea fishing • 2 adults

    Super knowledgeable, educational and professional! We grew up deep sea fishing on the east coast and Carribean and this trip rivaled all of it! Caught so many fish we had to throw some back! He really know the lay of the land or should I say sea out there! Saw dolphins, sea lions, and all kinds of wildlife on top of the sheephead, rockfish, whitefish and many more species that were caught They do not oversell at all! Have a fear of the sea? Taylor is very smooth with the handling of the boat and it was an even keeled ride all the way out and back! Even still, we did not come prepared with enough cash to buy the one day fishing licenses at the marina and not only did they come help and purchase it for us and streamlined the experience, they were also able to include it in our total invoice which we did not have to worry about, paying with credit card, until the fish were cleaned, fillet’d, and we were safely back to our vehicles! Talk about service!… but bring cash you guys lol

We had a group who were out on a mission to catch fish for a dinner they were holding that same evening. We had 22 fish over the duration of the trip, and had plenty to go around. Nothing like fish this fresh out of the Pacific.

Group were fixed on catching halibut, and thats,exactly a 38” halibut on an anchovy did the trick. San diego bay has some great Halibut fushing.

Coronado bridge Halibut!

Windy weather meant we had to change our plans and fish a little tighter to the bank. We headed to the Coronado Bridge. After pulling in a shark and dozens of bass we landed 2 halibut of which one was a keeper.

La Jolla yellowtail!!!

Great 5 hour AM with a group of out of towners. We headed to La Joll to do some bottom fishing. We had a giant school of yellowtail splash next to the boat. Raidar was full so we dropped down some irons and immediately got hit by two great sid yellowtail.
