My names Cody gibbons. My fishing addiction started in middle school. When I was in a class, all I could think about was what fish were chewing while I was stuck inside. I grew up right here in Tampa Bay fishing since I was 14 years old. I've worked for a few charter companies, it was ok but I wanted something more, so I started my own business. As my own boss, I could be honest about the bite, reschedule when the weather isn't so good. My philosophy is that people pay for a charter so they don't wanna go fishing in bad weather or a bad time of the day. My company is for the customer not for the dollar. If you booked on a day where the weather is not promising I'm going to do my best to take care of you and reschedule. I won't push the charter through just to make a dime. I know Tampa Bay like the back of my hand I do any type of fishing you can think of. Book with me today and I guarantee you catch fish and have a good time.

Cody made this trip the best one we’ve ever had! Not only did he adjust his personal schedule around so we could fish on the good weather day, he made the day an absolute blast! He made sure me and my wife were comfortable and happy. We went to several fishing spots where we scored fish each time. Trout, red fish, sheeps head and snapper! If you want to have a GREAT experience on a very nice comfortable and super clean boat, I highly recommend Captain Cody! We’ve been with a few charters out here and I can tell you Cody is BY FAR the best if you want to catch fish and have a good time doing it!

Awesome Feb 1st fishing
3/4 Day Trip – Inshore on February 1, 2025 • 2 adults
Even though we went looking for Hogfish and did not catch any... We caught around 50 fish in total. On the way back we even caught a couple of grouper in the shipping channels. Great experience!

My son ( age 23) and I had a great time. We caught our limit of Red fish, several Snook and Spotted Trout (Tampa Bay Slam). We did the six hour trip and enjoyed Captain Cody.
