Fishing was slow but captain Joe found us some really nice walleyes

Just a tough day, weather wise, but guide really tired to find fish.

Alec was a great guide.

	This is the month to explore the ice fishing potential of Sturgeon Bay. Lake Whitefish is the most common catch, but Walleye, Yellow Perch, and Northern Pike don't fall far behind.</p>


<p>
	February is excellent for ice fishing endeavors and you'll have plenty of catch to choose from – <span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Perch, and Muskellunge are all very hungry.</p>


<p>
	The temperatures are slowly rising, which means that the ice fishing season is at its end. By the end of the month, open water fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, and Walleye can begin.</p>


<p>
	The sun is shining and the fish are biting! In the cards are all the A-listers including Trout, Coho and Chinook Salmon, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and more.</p>


<p>
	The prime fishing season starts in May, and whatever you'd like to reel in, now is the time. Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Trout, and Muskellunge are there for the taking.</p>

	Most fish love warm waters, aside from Salmon, but you can catch them further offshore. Walleye, Steelhead, Brown and Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, and Yellow Perch await!</div>

	July promises productive and pleasant days on the water, with plenty of catch to bring home. Think Yellow Perch, Smallmouth Bass, Trout, Salmon, and of course, Walleye.</div>

	Want a mixed bag of catch? Fish Sturgeon Bay in August! Salmon and Trout are biting in Lake Michigan, and the Bay Side is teeming with Walleye, Bass, Perch, Muskellunge, and Pike.</p>

	Fall is around the corner and though the winds are picking up, the fishing is still solid. Steelhead and Salmon are active, as well as Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Yellow Perch.</p>


<p>
	This is the last chance of the year to fill your cooler with Salmon fillets, while Coho and Chinook are still biting. The Walleye and Bass action is still going strong.</p>


<div>
	Winters in Sturgeon Bay are anything but mild, and being on the open water in November isn't for the faint-hearted. Bass, Walleye, and Muskellunge hookups are frequent.</div>


<p>
	The ice is slowly setting in, though it's still not safe enough for ice fishing. Where there's open water, you can cast your line for Smallmouth Bass, Muskellunge, and Walleye.</p>
