Epic Guide Service is here to show you the stunning waters of Sturgeon Bay.
Smallmouth Bass and more could be biting, depending on when you go. Depending on the fish you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Kids are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 23’ Ranger sportfishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with Epic Guide Service!
