Coyote Sportfishing was excellent. Maria was a great help and pointed us to the correct location and made sure we were taken care of. Captain Frank was delightful and very welcoming, offered us a free upgrade to Gamefisher flamingo II. Isaac (first mate) and Mario (captain of gamefisher) were well knowledged and skillful. 5 tuna in the morning, 6ft + Sailfish in the afternoon, had a successful day. They also make a pretty decent sandwich for lunch ! Thanks so much Coyote Sportfishing! Will recommend you to friends in the future!

WOW what a day. This trip was the best i ever had.  It started with the communication with everything discussed and worked out tight down to what kind of sandwich i wanted.  Both the crew members spoke english which made things much smoother. We went out about twenty miles. a good 45 Minute ride.  Lines weren’t in ten minutes and caught a 100lb+ sailfish. Then we headed to their marlin spot.  They fished hard no luck and the captain started to fish for live bonita and systematically replaced the baits with live bonita.  It wasn’t long until we hooked up on a blue marlin.  They said it was small lol but it was 250 lbs and i was the only man in our group so it was all mine.  It was a grueling fight of over 40 minutes.  It was so strong i could only take back line when the captain backed up for me.  By the time he started to tire i was almost done and thought i might lose the rod lol.  The first mate cheered me on. We almost had him and he went crazy ripping back off 100 fr of line and putting on a spectacular leaping display fight behind the boat. I hung on for dear life lol. He eventually. calmed down and i got him back within 10 ft of the leader and i could not do any more. Issac then hand lined him until he finally got hands on his bill. no small feat.  The fish fought and bounced him up and down on the rail but he hung on and then the fish finally complied.  We got all the photos and sent him back for another day!  My first marlin and a day to always remember. The power of a marlin is hard to describe and everyone should feel once in their life. Can not recommend these guys enough!!

Went out expecting just a fun day on the water. Caught two—better than average—sailfish. Had a blast! Just when heading home, my wife was wanting something we could cook. Granddaughter hooks yellow fin tuna minutes later. Couldn’t ask for a better ending to a great day! Captain Frank Berrocal, Jeremy, and Kendall (crew) made it all happen. Will be back ASAP and will again use Coyote Tres!

The captain and crew are the best.Very talented!!!! Very accommodating.They put us on the fish all day.We caught yellowfin sailfish, mahi, amazing. the crew was also very accommodating with the weather tons of snacks and beer on board and the provided lunch was amazing chicken sandwiches, mario and luis are phenomenal on that boat.If you want to catch big fish book with them!!!!

The captain Mario and Mate Issac got us on fish and worked the whole time keeping us on them. The fleet at Tamarindo didn’t do well on the day we went out but we landed and released 3 sailfish as well as 3 skip jack. Issac worked hard switching the teasers and keeping fresh bait in the water. We had several teaser hits that we were not able to hook up and had constant excitement. Issac was engaging and we landed fish almost every 45 minutes. Fishing out of North Carolina, Virginia and Alabama this was by far the most enjoyable trip i have been on. Highly recommend.
