I took my two boys (11 & 12) fishing with Jesse for a half-day trip on June 17. Jesse was ready ahead of time and met us at the boat ramp at Lake Calaveras. Excellent trip on a beautiful morning. Captain Jesse did his best to put us on fish without success. there were several boats on the water, i didnt see anyone catching fish. They just weren’t biting. I have fished with Jesse before and caught my limit. I will definately fish with him again!

We had a great trip! This was our first time booking a fishing trip anywhere. Came to the area for spring break. Had to switch our fishing day due to wind. Jesse was amazing to work with. Jesse took us out looking for red drum in early January. I had a few questions before the trip, and he always got back to me promptly. We got to the lake and were out on the water within 5 minutes with lines in the water. Unfortunately, it was just one of those days where the fish weren’t biting. Jesse, our boat Captain, was very accommodating. We had one member in our group that have never casted a line before and Jesse was very patient and took time to teach her. She enjoyed it so much… I think she’s hooked 😅. We all had a great time and can’t wait to try out some new fish recipes… We caught plenty of fish including a 34in catfish. I highly recommend Jesse to be your next fishing guide / boat captain.
