We had a great trip! This was our first time booking a fishing trip anywhere. Came to the area for spring break. Had to switch our fishing day due to wind. Jesse was amazing to work with. Jesse took us out looking for red drum in early January. I had a few questions before the trip, and he always got back to me promptly. We got to the lake and were out on the water within 5 minutes with lines in the water. Unfortunately, it was just one of those days where the fish weren’t biting. My family had an amazing time fishing at Lake Cavalares, in San Antonio, Tx. The Captain, was ready to go and had the perfect set-up and professional attitude. Never fishing at this lake before, we had hoped to catch a few fish; however, as a result of Captain Jesse’s vast experience, we were on the fish quickly and often!!!  It was a family trip and we all limited out on Red Fish. First time at this location and with a guide. We are definitely planning on returning in the near future! The boat and equipment were amazing and the Captain/guide Jesse explained the process perfectly. From the very beginning you could tell he was knowledgeable of the area. He very clearly made an effort to make out the trip worthwhile. We caught a beautiful red drum within 15-20 minutes of being in the boat and ended up going home with 9 large fish. We really enjoyed our time fishing with Captain Jesse! He was friendly, had great communication and worked to make sure we found the fish! We just did catch and release since we were leaving but it would have made a very nice meal and then some for all of us! We would recommend Captain Jesse to anyone and definitely go again!
