Scale Chaser Fishing Guide welcomes you for a fishing trip on one of Texas’ beautiful lakes. Your journey will start out of San Antonio where you’ll meet Captain Jesse Flores, a lifelong angler with years of experience running charters. He’ll do his best to provide you with an enjoyable trip and help you get back home with a respectable catch in your freezer. Pay him a visit and embark on your next fishing adventure in Texas!
The boat you’ll use is a 21’ Blue Wave center console that can fit up to 4 anglers. Powered by a 140 HP Suzuki engine and equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio navigation electronics, the boat will take you to the fish quickly and safely. It features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box, and is also equipped with downriggers and a livewell.
On your trip, you’ll attract your prey by trolling, spinning, and jigging, all using light tackle. The species you can target include Redfish, Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, and White Bass. If you want to, you can keep the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy some lovely meals. If not, simply release it back into the water. Kids are welcome to come aboard.
Captain Jesse will supply you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and will even clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge. Just bring the food and drinks of your choice as well as valid fishing licenses before you leave.

Fun day catching Redfish!
I took my two boys (11 & 12) fishing with Jesse for a half-day trip on June 17. Jesse was ready ahead of time and met us at the boat ramp at Lake Calaveras. It did cost us $26 for an adult and two kids to enter the park. We spent the morning trolling for redfish. Jesse put us on 8 good redfish between 21-25”. I’m an avid fisherman and spent most of the time chatting with Jesse about the details of the lake and the fish. He was very willing to share information and was awesome to chat with all day. I would highly recommend a trip to anyone wanting to catch redfish. The boat is nice and Jesse has good equipment. Most importantly, Jesse is super friendly and a great guide.

Good fishing trip with Capt. Jesse!
Capt. Jesse was ready and waiting when we arrived. The fishing trip was great and our catch even better. Relaxing on the water till the rods bowed over and the reeling began. Capt. Jesse put us on the fish and the trip was a success. We're already talking/ planning our next trip. Capt. Jesse is the guy to book with for sure!

Really Enjoyed Our Day
Jesse was waiting and ready to go when we arrived. His boat and equipment are very clean and well maintained. We brought our 10 yr old grandson and he had a great time and caught 4 nice size redfish. Jesse was very helpful, as we are all rookies but he explained everything and made the day a lot of fun. I highly recommend him!

Great trip
We had a great trip! This was our first time booking a fishing trip anywhere. Came to the area for spring break. Had to switch our fishing day due to wind. Jesse was amazing to work with. Communication was top notch. He made sure we had the best day possible. The fishing started off hot. My son and I doubled up quickly. My wife then got one landed. The fish then decided not to bite. Jesse kept at it and worked hard to get us more fish. Son and I doubled up again, but both got off at the last minute. Jesse found us more fish, but they just weren't biting. But it wasn't from a lack of hustle on Jesse's part. We had a great time and would absolutely book with Jesse again. If you are thinking about booking, just do it. You will have a great time, and Jesse will bust his butt to find you fish.

Jesse is a knowledgeable guide who takes pride in his work
Jesse took us out looking for red drum in early January. I had a few questions before the trip, and he always got back to me promptly. We got to the lake and were out on the water within 5 minutes with lines in the water. Unfortunately, it was just one of those days where the fish weren't biting. Jesse kept trying new tactics and eventually we got a couple fish, but to his credit, he wasn't satisfied with the way the trip went and offered to take us out again later in the year for free. That shows a lot of character and pride in his work. Looking forward to going out with him again.
Jesse took us out looking for red drum in early January. I had a few questions before the trip, and he always got back to me promptly....
