Scale Chaser Fishing Guide welcomes you for a fishing trip on one of Texas' beautiful lakes. Your journey will start out of San Antonio where you'll meet Captain Jesse Flores, a lifelong angler with years of experience running charters. He'll do his best to provide you with an enjoyable trip and help you get back home with a respectable catch in your freezer. Pay him a visit and embark on your next fishing adventure in Texas!

The boat you'll use is a 21' Blue Wave center console that can fit up to 4 anglers. Powered by a 140 HP Suzuki engine and equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio navigation electronics, the boat will take you to the fish quickly and safely. It features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box, and is also equipped with downriggers and a livewell.

On your trip, you'll attract your prey by trolling, spinning, and jigging, all using light tackle. The species you can target include Redfish, Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, and White Bass. If you want to, you can keep the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy some lovely meals. If not, simply release it back into the water. Kids are welcome to come aboard.

Captain Jesse will supply you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and will even clean and fillet your catch at no extra charge. Just bring the food and drinks of your choice as well as valid fishing licenses before you leave.

Fun day catching Redfish!

I took my two boys (11 & 12) fishing with Jesse for a half-day trip on June 17. Jesse was ready ahead of time and met us at the boat ramp at Lake Calaveras. It did cost us $26 for an adult and two kids to enter the park. We spent the morning trolling for redfish. Jesse put us on 8 good redfish between 21-25”. I’m an avid fisherman and spent most of the time chatting with Jesse about the details of the lake and the fish. He was very willing to share information and was awesome to chat with all day. I would highly recommend a trip to anyone wanting to catch redfish. The boat is nice and Jesse has good equipment. Most importantly, Jesse is super friendly and a great guide.

A great day of fishing!!

My son and I are here on holiday (from Germany). We went out on the "Scale Chaser" with Captain Jesse. We enjoyed it very much. Jesse is very knowledgeable and very relaxed and friendly. We landed three "Red Drum" fish. Jesse cleaned the fish for us and about 2 hours later they were on our plate. They tasted truly delicious. I would highly recommend Captain Jesse and Scale Chaser... thanks for a wonderful day Captain Jesse!!

Wonderful trip

Jesse was a great captain. He took us to different areas. Even extended the trip a few more minutes until we were able to catch our last fish. My kids were really happy. For around two years my daughter wanted to catch, cook and eat a fish, and finally she accomplished her goal. Next time in San Antonio we will call him again, for sure. Be sure it would be a great experience!
