This is our third year of taking a fishing guide.  Each year with a different guide and I go with my son and son-in-law and we all agree that Nick has done the best job out of all the guides we took.  He explained things well and was very patient with us.  We caught dinner for tonight. We caught a 35-in schnook and about a 25-in schnook and had a great time. We liked Nick because he was very attentive to what we needed and was always there to bait us up and get us going.  He was very conscious of being organized about our time and fishing different spots for the fish we wanted to catch. It was a great day and we’ll be back again next year. Thanks, Nick. You deserved more than a 5 star rating.

If you want an amazing experience on the water, book Captain Nick Whipp. You will not regret it. Our trip was fantastic. My brother in-law has never fished in Florida and I’m a novice fisher. Captain Nick gave fantastic instructions and had us on fish before he could even finish giving us a briefing of what to expect. Both of us caught our first cobia and it’s an experience we’ll never forget. I had one of the best days I’ve ever had on the water. Even if the fish weren’t biting, captain Nick provides an all around excellent experience full of boating, fishing, and local knowledge. However, the fish were biting and Captain Nick kept us on them all day!! I will exclusively ride with Captain Nick for all future trips. Thanks again Captain!

I’ve had a lot of trips with guides in Florida.  We didn’t knock it out of the park with numbers of fish but it was just one of those days. Bright sunshine and windy. We did catch some really nice fish.  Nick was unbelievably knowledgeable about the area, fishing techniques for various fish and how rig up.  In all honesty, if we had not caught a single fish, the amount of knowledge about the fish and how to fish for them would have been worth the cost.  Boat and equipment was top notch and immaculate. We moved constantly all day to different areas looking for fish. He really really goes all out to get you on fish. If he’s got an open spot on the day you want to fish then you should consider yoursel really lucky.

This was our 2nd charter w capn nick. If you are in the englewood area he’s the only charter to use. He puts you right on the fish. We caught 36 of them about 10 diff species . . Had about 4lbs of meat in the cooler. Awesome, Awesome time.  It’s like you are fishing w a buddy rather than a stranger. We can’t wait to come back.

My son and my dad enjoyed a beautiful day of fishing with Captain Nick on his beautiful boat. We all caught snook and had fun. Nick is very knowledgeable about how and where to catch fish and was very attentive especially with my special needs son. I really enjoyed returning back to familiar fishing places like Turtle Bay and Bull Bay. It was nice to see some of the old fishing shacks still standing after all these years and storms.
