We had an absolute blast with Ozzy and Yari! The half-day charter was easily one of the best days of our trip to Miami, and one of the greatest adventure-dates of our lifetime. This trip was equally amazing for me (an amateur at best) as it was for my partner, who is an experienced angler. Our charter hosts were highly knowledgeable about the species, the fishing and rigging techniques, as well as the entire geographic area. It’s worth mentioning that:
1) the pre-charter communication was helpful and timely
2) Yari and Ozzy were engaging and overall delightful company,
3) we caught 16 (that’s right -sixteen!!) fish!
The cherry on top of an amazing day was the fish being cleaned, filleted, and delivered to our doorstep before being made into next-level-mind-blowing-life-changing ceviche.

We couldn’t be happier with the entire charter experience, and we will definitely be booking an excursion with captain Ozzy next time we are in Miami. 11/10 for exceeding our expectations + 12/10 going above and beyond and crafting an unforgettable fishing experience!

This trip was so fun and worth it! The meet location was easy to find. The trip from the where the boat is docked to the ocean is such a nice ride through the city! Captain Ozzy & partner Yari are the nicest people with great vibes! They are both local to Miami and had plenty to educate us about! We saw dolphins, a manatee and we’re SO blessed to see a sea turtle. Yari was nice enough to take pictures, capturing some great moments of us, then air dropped them all to me at the end!! Captain Ozzy took us to some of his favorite spots with views of Miami & Miami Beach. Ozzy and Yari both took their time to provide education to less experienced members on board. We caught yellowtail, snapper and some others. It was relaxing and thrilling to be aboard their boat! After, Capt Oz filet our catch and recommended a local restaurant where we could it eat it! It was an awesome way to end an extraordinary day. I highly recommend these guys! Anyone can take you out on their boat, but these people truly have a passion for fishing and that really shines in their work.

Couldn’t ask for better hosts or fishermen! Captain Ozzy and Yadi were not only extremely personable, but they knew where to find fish. Even on what they considered a slow day, we had non stop action for hours. An absolute tremendous experience for my 3 boys and I. Caught enough Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper for multi meals which by the way was fantastic! We choose the 3/4 day reef fishing excursion. I highly recommend it if you’re interested in catching a wide array of fish. I think we ended up catching 10+ species that day. The next time we’re in Florida you can bet we’ll be booking another trip with these two!

Captain Ozzy and Yari were the BEST fishing guides we could have possibly found!  They were very knowledgeable and attentive to every aspect of our trip. 

They made sure my 13 year old boy had the time of his life.  They took us out on the bay to catch a huge variety of fish. We caught about 9 different varieties of fish of which some were released and some we kept for dinner that evening. 
We only brought sunscreen and some snacks, Captain Ozzy provided everything else from licenses to music and a cooler of ice for our catch.

Captain Ozzy made sure to teach us how to cook them and even filleted them at the dock.  My son caught a beautiful lion fish, which of course we couldn’t keep since we learned how invasive that fish is to the reef ecosystem, but just the incredible amount of information we learned about lion fish and all the others from Captain Ozzy and Yadi was amazing!! 

We enjoyed learning all about the scenery and buildings in the marina as we made our way out to the bay.  We also appreciated both Ozzy and Yadi setting our hooks so that we didn’t feed too many shrimp to the hungry fish below.

This was our first trip to Miami as a family and I won’t hesitate to book Captain and Yadi the next time we visit.  We look forward to returning the favor by teaching Ozzy and Yadi all about Ice fishing on the frozen lakes of Minnesota!

Our family had an AMAZING time fishing with Captain Ozzy and Yari on their clean and beautiful boat. Seriously, we can’t get over how much fun we had on our trip
—Fishing was SO great! We’ve been on several different fishing trips including Hawaii and the Dominican Republic and we’ve never seen the great variety of fish that we did here in Miami. We caught Mangrove snapper, Yellowjacks, Lane snapper, Kingfish, Barracuda, Rockhind Grouper and more!

The fishing experience was A++ but where Ozzy and Yari really set themselves apart is in their customer service. As we headed out to sea we enjoyed seeing the skyline of Miami. Our hosts pointed out different highlights in the architecture and were very informative as we were sight seeing. We were even able to see manatee and dolphin before we even put our anchor down!

The couple was super patient and kind with our kids and very attentive, making sure everyone was always comfortable and had whatever they needed. Yari even took beautiful photos and videos during the trip so that we can share our experience with friends and family.

At the end of the day, Ozzy cleaned our keepers for us and the two were very helpful in giving us recommendations for the rest of our trip. We really enjoyed their company and appreciate them so much for helping us create memories that’ll last a lifetime. Not only are they true professionals when it comes to fishing but they are two of the most kind and down to earth people. We cannot wait to visit them again! Thank you SO MUCH for making our trip to Florida the best possible.
