We went out fishing with Captain Austin, and although the fish just weren’t biting that day (not just us—other boats were coming up empty too), Austin put us right where the fish should’ve been. Austin is a really wonderful captain, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had some rough luck (as did all the other boats that morning) but Captain didn’t let up and we fished until we slammed a big ol’ chinook. We may have been the only ones on the Bay to walk away with a fish that day. Easy launch, easy fishing, beautiful scenery, great conversation. Wish I had brought beer and a raincoat.
