Austin is a really wonderful captain, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had some rough luck (as did all the other boats that morning) but Captain didn’t let up and we fished until we slammed a big ol’ chinook. We may have been the only ones on the Bay to walk away with a fish that day. Easy launch, easy fishing, beautiful scenery, great conversation. Wish I had brought beer and a raincoat. Austin took my wife and I out on the Nehalem river for my wife and I’s first anniversary. Took a little bit to find the big King we were looking for but ended up landing a beautiful 30lb Chinook. Austin’s boating and fishing ability showed and he made sure we had a wonderful day. Looking forward to another round.
