We booked a reef fishing trip with Captain Miguel. Due to weather, Captain reached out to us and suggested a change in trip due to weather and safety. He suggested a few different options and we let him decide. He took us on a night time inshore fishing trip, and it exceeded every expectation we had and then some.

He was knowledgeable about the art of fishing, compassionate towards marine life, patient with non experienced anglers, funny, and an all around great human being.

We caught some cool fish, saw dolphins, experienced the Miami lights at night on the water, and had a great time.

The highlight of our trip was the sheer excitement of the catches. Under Captain Miguel’s guidance, we managed to catch a variety of fish, and each time was as thrilling as the last. He was patient and encouraging, making our Daughter’s first catch a moment we’ll all cherish forever.

Aside from the fishing, cruising through the beautiful Miami waters was a treat in itself. Captain Miguel shared stories and facts about the area, adding an enriching layer to our adventure.

We only had a one day window to go out and catch some fish. Captain Chinea was wonderful keeping us update, also letting us know how to properly dress for the trip so we wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He was so prepared and knowledgeable, you can definitely tell he has a passion for what he does. We did kite fishing, bottom and surface fishing. I landed 2 snooks and probably my biggest snook ever. We also caught multiple jacks and black fin tuna. Overall, wonderful trip and experience!! Already booked my next trip!!!

Miguel guided us to a spot where we had fish on in less than 5 minutes. We had a lot of fish bite, even got to see kite fishing for sailfish. We saw one surface and snap up our bait. It was really cool to have one on for a bit. A little tricky to get them to commit, but overall it was a great trip. Highly recommend fishing with Miguel.
