I recently retired and wanted to celebrate doing something I have always wanted to do.  We booked a fishing trip with Captain Chad. 

WOW were we glad we happened to choose his charter.  It was just the four of us and the captain on the water.  He was extremely knowledgeable of the waters and where the fish were.  My granddaughter was the first to catch a fish.  We ended up all catching fish, however not within regulation size. 

While out on the boat, we saw a huge SEA TURTLE!  I had only seen one in a turtle hospital before.  It was awesome to see one so close to us.  We also saw dolphins with their young one in between them…the three of them swimming.

We will DEFINITELY book with Captain Chad again as he was helpful, knowledgeable, kind and considerate.  And .... for those that need it….the boat had a bathroom on it!!!  Much needed for us ladies.

I do need to mention that when people go out on boats, anything more than four and the lines may get tangled from the fishing gear.  I can see why the Captain takes this amount.  Six would have been crazy with tangled lines. 

Cant wait for our next charter!

Captain Chad is a great captain.  He is very personable, patient, & accommodating to the skill-level of the angler.  We booked a five-hour trip & had the opportunity to catch bait fish prior to heading out to a handful of solid spots.  Captain Chad had us on red snapper and trigger fish as soon as we dropped the first line.  Would definitely recommend to all skill-levels.

We had a great experience with Captain Chad of Reel Amelia! His vessel is pristine and offers a sweet escape to the local waters. Not only was his knowledge exceptional of the area, but of the local catch as well! He made sure my kids ages 11 and 12 were completely comfortable, safe and confident while having a line out. His encouragement and patience with them for this first experience put them right at ease. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with our trip. We can’t wait to go back out with him to learn even more!

Captain Chad was great. The fishing was tough with the current and wind fighting, but we still managed a few keepers and had a phenomenal time on the water hitting inshore and the jetties

My teenage son and his friends went out. They had a great morning and a wonderful time! They caught a Cobia but the best was the “one that got away” after 30 min of trying to reel it in.
