  WOW…….FISH ON!!!!

  its a shame that the stars only go to 5. Matt great guy and was very patient with my 90yr old dad and all of us. He is also a top notch captain and very knowledgable about his craft and the area waterways. we had an EXCEPTIONAL time on his boat! we limited out on our dinner for the nite of sea trout. Then we moved onto 4 goliath grouper, 4 shark and my “unicorn” massive tarpon!! There were many more great fish we had that bent the rod as well. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Matt for a charter as you wont be disappointed. We already cant wait for our next trip down and will surely be contacting Matt to head out again. Thanks again Matt!

  Me and my family had a great day of fishing with Captain Matt. We caught the usual suspects of sea trout and jacks but also a few surprises including a flounder and stingray. The highlight of the day however was several large sharks! Each my kids landed a shark (3 total) and they couldn’t have been more excited. We also lost another big shark but the excitement was the same regardless. Thanks Matt for another great day of fishing. We hope to be back in Marko Island to fish with you again one day.

  Even on a Windy Day.

  Even though the weather didn’t cooperate fully. Captain Keegan took us to the fish, even with a steady wind limiting the spots. Caught a good amount of keeper Snappers, enough for an excellent fish fry latter in the day. Caught Goliath Groupers, Snappers, Lady Fish and the dreaded Catfish. The Captain didn’t leave any hooks whithout bait and made the trip a very pleasant one.

  Great family trip with Captain Matt

  Let me begin by saying that Captain Matt is very transparent and set expectations for the day. Due to the circumstances, we had to pivot from our desired species, and targeted what would make a great experience for 3 kids. Captain Matt put us on fish and everyone had a great time. He works hard keeping lines baited and making sure everyone is having a good time fishing.

  We booked a 3 hr inshore charter with Capt. Matt out of Marco Island/Goodland area, and it was one of the best fishing trips we’ve had in Southwest Florida. Born and raised in these waters, he knows every spot in the back bays and mangroves like the back of his hand. The action was steady right from the start—he put us on fish consistently, gave great tips, and was super patient and fun to fish with. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Highly recommend Capt. Matt. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area! 🎣
