Uncharted Adventures takes you out on a fun and exciting fishing trip to the bountiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Heading out of Marco Island, Florida, Captain Matthew Keegan will take you to various inshore and nearshore spots as well as to the area’s backcountry, reefs, flats, and wrecks. Book your trip today and secure yourself a fun-packed and enjoyable experience on the water!

The boat you’ll be using is a 24’ Nautic Star bay boat center console with enough space for 4 guests. It uses a 250 HP Yamaha engine as well as GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for quick and accurate movement on the water. It features a wireless trolling motor for a more discreet approach to the fish, an ice box for storing your catch, and a livewell to supply you with live bait.

On your trip, you could catch species such as Goliath Grouper, Shark, Snook, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and other. Fishing on light and heavy tackle to reel in your targets. If you choose to keep your catch, Captain Matthew will gladly clean it for you at no extra charge. Kids are welcome to come aboard as well, so feel free to bring them and make your trip a wonderful family adventure!

The captain provides all the fishing gear and licenses, so just bring your food and drinks before you go.

Outstanding trip - Matthew was great!!

Matthew is a true expert fisherman and captain! I’m a novice fisherman and my son really enjoys it so I booked it for me and 4 kids. Matthew had everything well prepared (bait, rods, etc) when we got there … within minutes we were at great fishing spot and caught several fish. He was completely patient with all of us - teaching / educating and helping us with what to do. We fished in two spots, one near the south tip of Marco island - catching more than 20 fish!!! Then we went to a different spot and changed bait and actually reeled in a 100+ lb shark. (We obviously didn’t keep the shark). After we got back, Matthew patiently filleted and cleaned our fish and gave us instructions on which restaurant to go to (Cocomos) to enjoy our fresh catch. We ended up with so much fish we had leftovers and wonderful memories!! Thank you captain Matthew - HIGHLY recommend!!

Unforgettable Day—Snapper Limit, Goliath Grouper, and Core Memories Made!

What an incredible trip with Captain Matthew! We limited out on mangrove snapper within the first couple hours and were catching fish on nearly every cast. The highlight for me was landing a 125-pound goliath grouper—but the real win was the quality time and core memories made with my two boys (ages 10 and 11). Captain Matthew was fantastic with them—patient, encouraging, and professional. He made the trip fun and stress-free for all of us. He even cleaned and bagged our catch at the end. It was an experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!

Great Captain, Great Catch, Great Day!

We had an incredible time fishing with Captain Matthew! He was professional, knowledgeable, and fantastic with our kids — patient, encouraging and kept them engaged the whole trip. He worked nonstop baiting hooks, casting lines, and making sure everyone was taken care of, especially the kids. We caught a variety of species and brought home a ton of keepers. The boat was clean and comfortable, and Captain Matthew clearly knew all the right spots. This was easily a highlight of our Florida vacation, and we’d book with him again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Fantastic adventure!

We had a great time with Captain Matthew! He was such a big help with our two sons (10 and 14) and very knowledgeable. Every spot we fished was a winner. We caught so many fish we couldn’t eat all of it. We caught a ton of mangrove snapper, snook, Spanish mackerel, and Jack. The boat was well stocked and the equipment was top notch. He was very easy to work with and quick to respond to texts. We would highly recommend Captain Matthew and Uncharted Adventures.

I recently had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Matthew, and despite less-than-ideal fishing conditions, he made our day unforgettable. Captain Keegan's deep knowledge of the local waters, having been born and raised in the area, truly shone through. His personable nature and expertise ensured that we still managed to catch fish and enjoy every moment on the water. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, Captain Matthew is an excellent guide who caters to all skill levels. His passion for fishing and dedication to providing a great experience are evident in everything he does. I would absolutely recommend Captain Matthew to anyone visiting Marco Island, and I look forward to fishing with him again on my next trip!
