Our family had an excellent experience with Paul and his team. They employed a range of bait, lures, and techniques to optimize our chances of success, resulting in each of us catching multiple fish—with several occasions where two rods were engaged simultaneously. The crew demonstrated exceptional knowledge and provided valuable assistance throughout the trip. Our catch included two Mahi, two Wahoo, three Mackerel, numerous Barracuda, and, regrettably, a few sharks. I highly recommend Fish Slayer to those visiting Cabo Rojo and suggest inquiring with Paul about his recommended waterfall hikes.

We had a great time! Captain Paul was so knowledgeable, not just about the fishing, but everything Puerto Rico! The only regret was that we didn’t book it earlier in our trip so we could have taken more advantge of his recommendations. We will definitely book with Fish Slayer again! Can’t wait to go gishing again and snorkeling next time around!!

What can I say about this trip. I had no expectations coming into this trip and these two made it a huge positive for me and my son. We had great weather all day and these guys made an amazing trip for us we did a deep sea option and didn’t hookup with a lot but that’s the way fishing goes. We were not catching a lot out deep so captain said we were going in sallower to make the trip more valuable and he delivered. These guys will do anything in their power and work as hard as they have to, to make sure you have a great time. We frequent Puerto Rico every year and I will book a trip every single time I visit. Looking forward to next years trip. Easy to talk to and get along with. They had so much knowledge about the island and willing to share any info he has. He also cleaned our fish and made us fresh fish tacos from our catch that were simply amazing. I would strongly suggest that you try this charter first before you go anywhere else like I said again this will be a yearly trip for us, it was simply outstanding.

Paul and Matt made the entire trip enjoyable and educational. Both were competent and committed…not like the other charters that I had been on where the captain and crew just did their job with little insight as to the flora, fauna and fish. Right from the sight they made us feel comfortable and welcome. Would most certainly hire them again…great guys and adventure!

Captain Paul and First Mate Matt are good at what they do - professional and friendly, experience caught lots of fish, local and general knowledge about fishing and other things was entertaining. Feeding the tarpon at the end was fun. Filets of cero mackerel and yellow jack were excellent and fed eight people for three nights of dinners.
