Do not knock winter fishing the Texas Coast until you try it. Last Friday we had a great day on the water with less than 10 knot wind. These two angler caught over 50 sheepshead on live shrimp under a popping cork. Also we boated a few oversized redfish. Spring Break is fast approaching book now before its too late.

As fall is approaching so are their normal patterns. On this trip my group caught over 30 fish in the span of 5 hours. When is the fish fry? Get on our books for your next fall fishing experience out of Kemah Texas.

This group booked for a Sunday. Prior to the trip I had let them know the several days I had fished before were slower than normal. They insisted in still making the trip happen and boy did it pay off. Started off slow till 9:00 AM then persistence paid off. Tide changed and the Bay lit up with fish hitting. If I tell my groups anything its not to give up. Fish hard all day. Sometimes it happens in the first five minutes other times it is the last half hour of the trip. 9 times out of 10 you will be rewarded if you just stick with it.

Started out the day by making the run to the Jettys. The trout were no where to be found so hit some deep water wells where we picked up a few fish from each one. Moved over to a rocky area where your bait would not stay in the water longer then a few minutes before getting eaten. On the way back in we ran across a Galveston bay unicorn and was able to site cast and catch him. Great group to fish with a smiles on everyones faces is what it is all about!

With little to no rain in our area this year the upper part of Galveston bay has high salinity levels. Because of this the trout seem to be gorging on shrimp later in the summer due to it being abundant which is abnormal this time of the year. Fishing has been steady the past couple weeks. It is a great time to get out on the water!

Had a local business group on the boat the other day and we had a blast. We caught trout and redfish over shell on popping corks. Fish were not grouped up but found 3-4 keepers in every spot. Summer trips are going fast. We would love the opportunity to earn your business.
