Captain was great, did everything he could to make sure we caught something.

We really like the experience and wanted to try something different after fishing from a boat last year. We caught a couple of shark. It wasn’t a lot but the experience was great and we had a lot of fun.

There were five adults and two children in our party. We heard that captain Steven had lined up a helper but the helper did not show up. Captain Steven worked very hard, was very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, since his help did not show it took a long time for him to get all the lines going. He uses a drone to take the bait out and he had a bit of a struggle with the drone malfunctioning. We were newbies and really did not know what to expect on a shore fishing charter. We caught a few whiting and one bull shark. Landing the bull shark was fun. When we had just gotten the shark to shore a random truck drove over the lines, dragging them down the shore. With two children in the party that was quite a fright. Captain Steven handled things very well and we moved vehicles to block off the trail for safety.

We certainly cannot blame him for the low tide and sharks that were not very hungry. He did his best to get lines out without help and coached us through landing the shark. He then took some great photos to memorialize our adventure.

WE had a great time . Catching a shark is something the grandkids will never forget . Or me either .  The Captain and crew were Great.  Im ready to go again . Would definitely recommend Gulf Coast Yaker"s

We had a blast me and my father in-law both caught some big fish even tho the weather wasn’t good Captain Steve and his team put us on some fish. I highly recommend booking a fishing trip with Gulf Coast Yaker.
