Clean boat, experienced captain who helped us catch big fish. Highly recommend!

Was on a family trip, and very excited for this charter as it was something new for us to do a night trip and for sharks. I know the Captain has no control over fish biting, but we didn’t try more areas, fishing for something else, or even offered. This was our first charter where we didn’t catch anything. Just disappointed having 2 kids who were very bummed.

It wasn’t a terrible trip but it wasn’t a good one by any means. For starters he showed up 30 minutes late and then we had to still catch our bait for the day. 2 hours in we finally got to fishing. He was able to put us on some fish but the environment just felt uncomfortable. It was the captain and his first mate who is probably his girlfriend but that’s not a problem, she talked to us and was more friendly than the captain. You could tell he did not want to be there and wasn’t entertaining in the slightest. After only 2 hours of fishing on our 6 hour trip we had to head back to the dock because it was such a far drive. The conditions were definitely not in our favor and the boat ride was very rough (like coming 2 feet off of your seat then slamming back down rough) and there’s nothing the captain could’ve done about that but it definitely didn’t add to the experience. However, we just seen it as he showed up late and we only got 2 hours of fishing in on a 6 hour trip.

Captain and mate are nice, experienced but not good fishing on this trip.
