Can’t say enough about fishing with Shayne! My brother and I came down to learn some more about fishing the Laguna Madre and Shayne had a wealth of knowledge and experience. He put us on the fish fast and we caught about 15 trout over 20 inches that we had to put back and got our limit with slot fish also. Fantastic day! Captain Shane did a great job putting us on the fish even though it was a tough bite. Many other guides did not do as well. Shane is very patient and easy to get along with. He doesn’t have as much reviews as other guides but it’s just because he is fairly new to that platform. Shane is born and raised in the area and knows as much or more than the other guides. I have booked other trips in the past but this was by far the best. Thanks again Shane.

Long ride south to Baffin Bay and the Laguna Madre, but with almost the first cast we had a nice speckled trout on the line.  Captain Shayne was a patient coach who was able to help us get the feel of fishing with croakers.  He had lots of fresh bait and there was plenty of action. Captain Shayne was amazing to work with for the whole family. His patience and skills with my two small children was refreshing and removed a lot of worries we had going into the trip as they had never been on a boat or really much fishing before. He helped them catch fish and grow confidence. All said and done we came home with plenty of keepers and new personal best for everyone. Look forward to another trip in the future.
