Captain Austin Young is a USCG licensed captain and the owner and primary operator of Ace Outdoors Charleston. He previously served in Afghanistan and moved around different parts of the US during his time in the Army. Day by day, he continues to develop his passion for the outdoors and is always looking forward to sharing his fishing knowledge with his guests. Capt. Austin's favorite technique is sight fishing for Reds in shallow water. He's also a fly fishing expert.

I had a great 4 Hour Trip with Austin. Sight Casting for Redfish is the most complicated fishing I have ever attempted and Austin did a great job of patiently teaching me the techniques, and putting the boat right onto the fish. I will definitely go with him again!

An awesome trip in the marshes sight fishing for redfish!! Captain Austin was very knowledgeable about the area and extremely pleasant and accommodating. I plan to book again when I'm in the Charleston area next year.

4 Hour Trip – Sight Fishing on February 11, 2023
Wonderful experience with Austin of Ace Outdoors from start to finish. He was such a great teacher to my young son who learned so much that day. I would highly recommend booking him ASAP!
