The crew did everything we had asked for ahead of time and were incredibly helpful and responsive out on the water, with timely messaging before the trip.

We started off trolling, unfortunately no luck there. We went to the reef and were able to catch enough fish for lunch on shore and they made an amazing ceviche on the boat. They also had a large cooler for all our drinks.

The boat is a decent size, was a little snug for 9 guys plus 3 crew in the back but the cabin is a good size and there’s room at the front of the boat as well. This was also a fishing trip, not a luxury cruise.

The waves were rough that day and half of us got a bit seasick, so the captain took us to a shallow bay where we relaxed in the water with food and drinks for the last hour while everyone got some color back in their faces. Even though we didn’t land a monster fish, it was an excellent experience and would HIGHLY recommend this boat and crew. 10/10

we awere worries about the rough water with the 12 knot winds, however, the captain handled the boat like ot was calm waters! we had a a beautiful tuna on within 20 mims and the skilled guide handled all lines perfectly and and brought the fish in with conplete skill! after the fishing we were brought to calm waters and a beautiful beach for a few hours of relaxing and amazingly done catch and guac snacks!! I highly recommend this boat and crew!

“MARES” 38’ All singing and dancing craft. Lovely and smooth. Extremely clean. Powerful engine.
All the equipment worked well, and is well kept.
We had lunch made at sea. Sandwiches / Nachos and Avocados And fresh pineapples.
Only been once before in Mexico. So quite a novice at this. The crew put you at ease, Always giving help and advise. They are very hard working, always changing the bait and lures.
Managed to land a Wahoo, which took some doing & a Mahi Mahi. Both really vibrant colourings. Also two Mahi Mahi, which managed to doge being landed.

I highly recommend Pescado Adventures for a charter service out of Puerto Aventuras.  Captain Leo, and deckhands Sunny and Alejandro, worked very hard to help us fulfill our goal of catching billfish.  For four and a half hours, we trolled for the big game while the hands constantly cleared sargassum from the lines and rebaited.  When we felt like we were running out of time (6 hour trip), we turned to rock fish.  Even then, the fish weren’t biting much.  Leo moved the boat a few times to find fish.  Finally, we caught a large snapper and some smaller jacks.  It was a disappointing day from the perspective of catching fish, but the boat and the crew were really great.  Oh, and Roger was fantastic at communicating before the trip and accomodating our date change requests (bad weather made us move our date 3 times).

Captain was eager to take us to bottom fish. we caught lots of reef fish and barracuda. Lunch was amazing, crew knew how to have a good time!
