Pescado Adventures is located in Puerto Aventuras and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. The crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, which involves 4-, 6- and 8-hour trips. Opportunities to visit pristine coastline and snorkel above colorful coral reefs are also included.

The Mexican Caribbean is world-famous for easy access to billfish (Sailfish and Marlin), dolphinfish (Mahi Mahi), and an assortment of anglers’ favorites, such as Grouper, Wahoo, and more. You can expect to use techniques such as heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing and spinning. For all of these, you’ll use state-of-the-art equipment to enjoy your sport as much as possible.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 40ft Luhrs offshore sport fishing boat that can safely take up to 10 anglers, including kids. This boat comes with air-conditioning, a toilet, flybridge, kitchen, bed as well as a multimedia system, a refrigerator, an ice-box, and a fighting chair.

All the fishing gear and bait are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for your pleasure but feel free to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

PLEASE NOTE: a per person dock fee of $15.00 USD must be paid in cash to the captain when boarding the boat.

Marvelous Memories Made!

3/4 Day Trip - 12:00 PM on March 18, 2025 • 4 adults • 4 children

We booked the 40' Pescado Adventures boat on an AM 6 hour trip, but three days before our charter we received a message from Rodger that the weather was not going to cooperate Friday - Monday with the expected strong winds. He offered to reschedule us before our departure and luckily it worked out! Rodger was excellent at communicating with us from the day we booked to the day we boarded his boat. Because of the reschedule, we boarded their 38' instead on Tuesday afternoon and it sure was meant to be :) We had a barracuda in the first 30 min. We then landed another barracuda, a 90" sailfish (my husband's life long dream came true) and two snapper fish! After all the fishing excitement the crew accommodated our next wish to snorkel and explore the sea. We saw beautiful sea life, fish and sting rays! We finished the trip with some delicious guacamole, fruit and ceviche made with one of the snappers we caught as we tried to catch more fish. It was wonderful to make the trip that worked best for our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ages 6-10) from the trolling to bottom fishing to snorkeling. We've been on several charters before and the option to set the itinerary as the customer was a first for us! A great experience for everyone :)

Angela!!!! Your sailfish was a beauty!!!!! So happy that you had such an amazing day out at sea. We were very fortunate with the weather conditions. It is sometimes quite difficult to call as things change rather quickly (even during the course of a day) in the Caribbean. Look us up next time you are in town so that we can do it all over again. Professional crew, clean boat and good gear

Communication: Before the trip, I had a bunch of questions. The captain responded very quickly and with more information than I asked for. The fishing trip: I've deep sea fished dozens of times and I've seen the good, bad and ugly. The Lobster Tales Captain and crew did a phenomenal job! On top of all that, they had a great attitude. They made sure that we had the best chance at catching fish, they kept the mood light and always made sure that we had a drink in our hand. We caught a sailfish, barracuda and wahoo. They made some wahoo ceviche from our catch while we were still fishing and it was amazing! Top notch crew, I would definitely fish with you guys again!

Hardly any fish, but still a great time and the crew worked hard

I highly recommend Pescado Adventures for a charter service out of Puerto Aventuras. Captain Leo, and deckhands Sunny and Alejandro, worked very hard to help us fulfill our goal of catching billfish. For four and a half hours, we trolled for the big game while the hands constantly cleared sargassum from the lines and rebaited. When we felt like we were running out of time (6 hour trip), we turned to rock fish. Even then, the fish weren't biting much. Leo moved the boat a few times to find fish. Finally, we caught a large snapper and some smaller jacks. It was a disappointing day from the perspective of catching fish, but the boat and the crew were really great. Oh, and Roger was fantastic at communicating before the trip and accomodating our date change requests (bad weather made us move our date 3 times).

Great Day of Fishing

Full Day Trip (Early AM) on July 28, 2025 • 10 adults

Booked a full day charter on the Lobster Tails. Boat was comfortable for 7 adults and we had a great day of fishing. Captain and crew were great and worked hard to get us on the fish. The best part was the crew filleted some of catch on the ride back and prepared ceviche and sashimi on the boat for us to have back at the marina. Truly a great experience and I would recommend booking with them for your next trip.

Great trip!

Half-Day (Late AM) on May 25, 2025 • 8 adults

Great trip with a hard working and knowledgeable crew. 4-hour trip out of Puerto Aventuras. Crew was ready to go and we had lines in the water within 10 minutes and catching fish within 20 minutes. Boat was comfortable and well equipped. We caught 14 mahi mahi including a 57". Great time and great memories. Highly recommend Pescado Adventures and the Lobster Tails crew.
