Boat was much more than we expected- bigger - cleaner and very nice high end fishing equipment, that worked, we had zero problems with their equipment. Captain Jay was personable, friendly and made us feel comfortable - he explained what we were going to do and where we were going. He found fish for us before we even left the inlet and got us there rocket fast. The first mate was just like Jay, always there to help us with the fish and was beyond friendly also. We caught more fish that we could take home so at the halfway point of two hours we started throwing them back - and even ended the trip early being tired of catching so many fish. Definitely use them again in full trust and confidence for safety and catching more fish than we can or want to catch.

Really enjoyable day fishing!  Smoke Show is in great shape after a refurb and I love the setup. Plenty of open space, easy communication with Capt Jay, comfortable accommodations in the cabin and virtually no smoke from the engines.  The large size handles the waves well. Capt Jay knows the area well and found the fish including spanish mackerel, albacore tuna, and a large, feisty red drum. Lia worked the rods and catch very well and was nicely interactive with all of us in the party. She was particularly helpful to my son who is interested in becoming a mate and pursuing a business/career in charter fishing. I could not have asked for a better day. Really!  I’ll call them every time we return for more fishing. Thanks Capt Jay and Lia.

What an epic trip with Capt jay and Lia! Top notch boat, top notch Capt, top notch mate. Started the day off with non stop Spanish mackerel action, over 40 Mack’s caught. We then went to look for our target species of big bull reds and maybe a cobia. The reds weren’t cooperating but in the last hour of our trip, Jay and Lia put us on them! We got to land two,  50+ pound bull reds which made the trip every bit worth it. Would highly recommend going out and taking a trip on the smoke show !

We had an absolute blast! Get ready to have an absolutely incredible day if you book with Smokeshow! We all set new Personal BEST RECORDS! Captain Jay was great as he took us right to the fish and First-Mate Leah was the best in the business!!! She quickly climbed along the side of the boat to pass us rods and she even fileted the fish for us as we cruised back to the coast! 14 fish in the books!!! 🇺🇲😎🐠 We’re already looking at booking for our return trip!!!

Had a great experience with capt Jay and crew. Took my dad on this charter to celebrate his retirement and it was a perfect gift! Caught numerous Spanish mackerel to warm up, and each of us pulled in a huge red drum (exciting and surprisingly challenging!). The boat was huge and beautiful and they really put in a ton of effort to make our experience as fun and productive as possible.
