Captain Jay and his crew are great! This was our first fishing charter. Had us fishing in no time and the fish definitely cooperated as I lost count of how many we caught. 😂 Our family of four had a great time. Super patient with my special needs 12 year old. My 15 year old had a great time too. Bring carbonated beverages in case you feel nauseous like I did. 😂 But they were super helpful as far as handling that. Definitely recommend. Captain and crew were awesome. Everyone was fun and great at what they do! They put us on the fish we were hunting for, and didn’t stop until it was time to head back to shore. Great memories, and a whole freezer full of fish. Will go out again with this crew ,hopefully soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great day of serious fishing.

Boat was much more than we expected- bigger - cleaner and very nice high end fishing equipment, that worked, we had zero problems with their equipment. Captain Jay was personable, friendly and made us feel comfortable - he explained what we were going to do and where we were going. He found fish for us before we even left the inlet and got us there rocket fast. The first mate was just like Jay, always there to help us with the fish and was beyond friendly also. Captain Jay and Leah were great and although my kids got sea sick, they caught fish and experienced their first ocean fishing trip!  The boat was fantastic, and we would go out on the Smoke Show again if we return to Virginia Beach.

Trip was great with friends bit was a little disappointed in only catching 3 spanish mackerel. Just wasn’t biting no fault on the captain she did amazing job nin finally locating a spot we caught a few after.about 3 hours underway. Still had a great time and look forward to another trip soon.
