Capt Justin was awesome! While the fishing was not ideal we all know that’s part of the game. He worked his tail off non-stop trying everything and was awesome with the kids. In the end all the boys got a couple of sharks including a personal best for biggest fish for youngest son of a 50 lb plus shark!
We had a such a good time during slow fishing that we immediately booked a 2 hr trip the very next afternoon so my 6 yr old daughter could get out for the first time ever and Capt Justin got her on her first shark.
I travel the world on guided hunting and fishing trips and can’t recommend Justin enough. It’s easy to see a local who takes pride in his craft, cares about the experience and works hard.

Justin was attentive, helpful, and an all around great guy. He knew the spots to go to well, and was quick to cast out some lines for us. He made sure that we brought in some fish, and, if they weren’t biting in a spot, he sent us to another location. We ended up catching a good number fish that day, but overall more importantly, we had an amazing experience that I can’t wait to do again.

Another highlight of the trip for us were the dolphins that came out to hang by the board while we were reeling fish in. Cooler and more authentic that going to any aquarium or Sea World, these amazing and beautiful animals out on a show for us right next to the boat.

We highly recommend Captain Justin and Salty Habit Charters.  Justin did not hesitate to try new spots when we weren’t getting much action early in the trip.  He was great with all of my multigenerational family and spent some time helping my son with his casting.  By the end of the trip we all caught some fish and had plenty of laughs and a great time out on the water with Justin.  5 stars!
