Together with my 11 years old son we spent great time with captain Gavin. We tried several different types of fishing methods with different baits. Finally my son caught a beautiful stingray (~30kg) during deep sea bottom fishing. An experience of a lifetime, I highly recommend it!

What a gentleman gavin the skipper was,could not of been more of helpful.small group of five of us caught some small stuff,then decided to go for the big boys,in all catching two 30 kilo rays,and a hammer head shark. Thanks gavin

Has the option of going trawling for tuna and marlin or getting some live bait and going for the big bottom feeders. Never liked trawling so picked going after the rays and sharks. Wasn’t disappointed, got 2 massive rays and left with no strength in my arms after pulling them up from the depths. Sea was rough and not for the faint hearted though.

I only have this trip three stars, because there was a huge mix up at the start. I had booked a private trip for me and my son, but if when we arrived at the jetty there were 4 other people on the boat. The Captain apologised for the mix up and offered us other dates. Apart from the mix up, Captain Gavin is very knowledgable and very supportive of all those on board. Well worth a trip

What a trip,captain Gavin had us on the fish. Bait fish first and then on to the Ray & shark. Said to the captain would love to catch a Ray and it happened. Thanks captain Gavin
