Overall experience was good. Had to pay extra $80 as apparently, the 10% booking fee by FishingBooker is not included in the $780 advertised price. FishingBooker took $78 ($81.34 to be precise, including fees). After receiving the email from FishingBooker, to pay $702, I did direct debit payment of $702 into the bank details given by Dave. Received message from Dave that I will have to give him $78 in cash, Gave him $80.
Didn’t catch anything, did pulled a Barra very close before it let go. Also had a Stingray. Spend approx. 1.5 hours catching live baits. Would have liked to at least do a little bit casting but felt like Dave being over-protective to give us to cast. My wife didn’t even held the fishing rod. Being our first fishing trip with our daughter and son-in-law, would have liked all of us to do bit more casting and reeling in the line, rather then feeling like not to use the bait. Didn’t mind not catching anything because that’s luck. But atleast we should have had casting experience. Also found out that bananas are bad luck for fishing….

Fishing guide David went out of his way to get me onto a few Barra. He knows the Bohle river like the back of his hand and delivered the good with us bagging out on keeper sized fish. Very happy thanks skipper! I’ll book again next time I’m in town.

We all had a really great morning. It was so nice out on the water and David was very helpful sharing his local knowledge and experience. A couple of fish caught, a sausage sizzle lunch and lots of fun and memories made.

We had a great time on the creek, lots of good size fish for the kids to catch, very good guide who knows his stuff! Plenty of fish to put back, take home to eat and of course….the big one that got away! Lovely to experience the peaceful creek from the boat as part of our tour. Would definitely recommend, especially for families. Our kids were 5 and 8.
