- Captain Sebastian “Sebas” is a Coast Guard-licensed and a fully-insured guide. Captain Sebas learned to fish at the age of 4 and has a passion for it and a love for sharing his knowledge of catching fish which runs deep. He has been working on the HardHat, the family business Rampage boat as the first mate and fill-in captain. In 2019, he purchased his first boat “GirlFriend”, a 27' Grady White walkaround cuddy, and started offering charters under the family fishing business. Today, FishLinked Charters and Capt. Sebas invite you to join them on GirlFriend. She is powered by twin Yamaha 200 HP engines, a full private toilet, and accommodates up to 4 guests for inshore half and full day fishing. You can also choose to come out on HardHat, the captain's 32’ Rampage Express. She is powered by twin Volvo Diesel engines and will give you a great deal of comfort. It is equipped with a private toilet and a tower and will accommodate up to 6 passengers.
- Techniques
- As part of your trip, the crew includes everything you need to make a great catch possible, from rods, reels, bait, and lures. The first mate will clean your catch at the end of the trip. You only need to bring your drinks and snacks. The time of year will dictate the type of fish you are targeting. As an example, in early May you will target Black Seabass, Flounder, and Fluke. A little later in the season, you can enjoy some trolling or light tackle action for Striped Bass and Bluefish. Once the water starts to warm up offshore, you can target Shark and Tuna, which you will find electrifying. The crew will manage the time of the trip based on tides, so that you can maximize when the fish will be most likely to be feeding. This means that the exact time of departure needs to be scheduled according to the tides. Capt.
