- Background
- From the moment I was old enough I started fishing on Farm ponds in North Texas. Joined the military when I was 18 and enjoyed fishing in Germany and Washington State. I then moved back to Texas and started guiding part-time on Lake Tawakoni in 2010 and got a great reputation so I quit my "real job" and started guiding full-time in 2012 and have been doing that ever since! I have been guiding Lake Tawakoni for Catfish only for over 13 years and I know this lake like the back of my hand!
- Techniques
- It depends on the time of year. Winter time for the Trophy Blue Catfish I usually drift. During the spring and fall I usually fish shallow water or on points for Blue Catfish. Summer time I have baited holes that I fish for Channel Catfish and usually limit out with 25 fish per person!
