Looking to cast a line in West Tawakoni? Make it happen, with Tawakoni Guide Service! Captain Homer will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of angling experience.
You're likely to go after Catfish, and more, depending on conditions.
On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Capt. Homer runs a 25' Kenner center console that holds up to 8 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Tawakoni Guide Service is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

Experienced and knowledgeable guide! We limit out every time we book with Larry. He does all the hard work while you get to have fun reeling in the fish and taking home bags of catfish filets!

Thanks for the review!!!! Had a good time with yall, sorry I was feeling a little down.

Wow what a great captain! We caught a ton of channel catfish! Exactly what Larry promised. My best friend isn't very experienced and with the wind and waves the bites were a little harder to feel, but captain took his time with her! In no time she was feeling them in!Great attitude great captain, amazing time.We have already booked him for March and the big blues...can't wait.Thank you

Good times- kids had a blast. Caught a bunch of fish. Thanks!
From the moment I was old enough I started fishing on Farm ponds in North Texas. Joined the military when I was 18 and enjoyed fishing in Germany and Washington State. I then moved back to Texas and started guiding part-time on Lake Tawakoni in 2010 and got a great reputation so I quit my 'real job' and started guiding full-time in 2012 and have been doing that ever since! I have been guiding Lake Tawakoni for Catfish only for over 13 years and I know this lake like the back of my hand!
