We loved our trip with Capt. Cameron. He is very knowledgeable of the waters around Cedar Key and worked hard to find fish for us. And that he did.  We caught our limit of trout and had lots of action. Cameron is an easy going sort, very patient and helpful. My wife is not an experienced angler and he made her day a lot of fun. She is already asking when we can come back to Cedar Key and fish with him again.

Capt.Cameron Granger is a dedicated, professional, and personable guy who really knows his fishing!  He was fully committed to ensuring that we had lots of activity on our lines, and he patiently taught us a few things about how to hook into redfish and trout. His boat was roomy and comfortable for our party of three, and he could have easily accommodated four people. 

What I appreciated most was Cameron’s communication.  I was wanting to book a special trip for my husband and his twin brother (who flew in from NY) for their 70th birthday.  Cameron helped me understand best options and what to expect when fishing drops off in mid-day during the hottest summer months.  Then, as the date approached, I was worried about the weather. Cameron returned my call and reassured me that all will be fine and he’s got it handled.(Can this guy really control the weather?!?) He called again the afternoon before our trip and gladly accommodated our wish to get on the water at 6:45AM instead of the usual 8AM start time.

Once on-board, Cameron had everything we needed—plenty of bait and lures with rods and reels in excellent shape. I can honestly say there was never any wait-time to get a hook re-baited or a line in the water! He was totally focused on making sure we had the best opportunity to catch fish!

We have done a few different private trips with other captains out of Cedar Key, Bradenton and the Keys.  Cameron was truly the very best we have experienced.  We will definitely book with him again!.

And as for the weather…. Rain and thunderstorms were predicted, but we never got a drop! This guy is magic!

Cameron was a knowledgeable, professional, and fun captain for our fishing excursion on Cedar Key.  He kept us engaged and brought us to some great spots for a nice haul of speckled trout.  He filleted them and we had them cooked up at Steamers, just walking distance from the dock.  We appreciate Cameron and will definitely be back for another round.

My husband, son, daughter and I had a really great time. It was very hot out. But we still kept on fishing. Cameron took us to all different places. We had a lot of bites, caught a lot that were too big and too small, lost a lot of the same but caught a few keepers. Cameron had to keep fixing our lines, putting new hooks and bait. That would get snapped off. But all in all, we had a great day out on the water. My husband, Billy Jack Gourley says Thank you from the blind guy. Thank you from us all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 day Charter with Captain Cameron. Super nice & knowledgeable. Will definitely book again soon!
