Man!!!! What a great trip!!!  Tyler and Rocko provided a great experience for my 10yo daughter’s first offshore trip. This was just what I was looking for.  We had action all day long.  Huge kings and amberjacks smashing live baits off the stern, while we reeled up grouper, snapper, triggers and other bottom fish between bites.  I went head-to-head and released a massive sandbar shark (probably 200+lbs) on a diawa bg 5000 spinning reel, which I didn’t think was possible until now. With kids, it is not just about catching fish, it’s the entire experience and they provided.  She saw dolphins and flying fish, gaffed a fish and heaved it over the side, learned how to fight using spinning gear, and she was the envy of the dock when we returned.  I can’t thank you guys enough for the memories and pictures.

For starts as soon as we got into the boat Captain Tyler and Captain Rocco made us feel very comfortable. There’s nothing in this world quite like starting your morning out with a boat ride, listening to great music. Once we arrived to the fishing spot it wasn’t 30 seconds before we hooked onto a nice sized Amber Jack, and the bite NEVER slowed down. We even encountered a couple nice sized sharks (AKA the tax man). We go to Garden City every summer for vacation and this experience was so good we will make sure this a tradition we do every year.
