Derin got his captain’s license and established Whipper Snapper Charters. Coming from a family of avid Florida anglers, he acquired a big part of his fishing and boating knowledge naturally. He has a vast knowledge of the various species in The Gulf due to his lifelong fishing in the Emerald Coast's waters since he was a little whippersnapper. During his high school years, the captain worked on most weekends and summers as a deckhand out of both Destin and Pensacola. Capt. Derin is excellent with youngsters and can ensure they will have an exciting and educational time on board. Don’t hesitate about bringing your young anglers on your trip!
