Growing up in South Carolina allowed Captain Joe's family the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, whether it be duck hunting, fishing, or just enjoying the water. His family established a successful HVAC company but their passion for outdoor sporting was their lifelong career goal. They have spent 28 years educating themselves on the techniques of successful and effective outdoor fishing and hunting techniques. Once Captain Joe and his family found that they had learned and mastered what was needed to be successful in both the chartering and hunting business, they were able to establish Eastern Tailz Outfitters. Whether you're chasing fish tails, ducks tails, or buck tails, the captain can ensure your entertainment and success. He and the rest of the family are so excited to invite you to be a part of the outdoor adventures they have grown so passionately for. We had fish on the hook right from the start,trout and black drum,filled the cooler in about an hour then we were catching and releasing,3rd year with Captain Joe and always leave happy and with fish!! Thx Captain Joe!!!

4 Hour Trip with Captain Joe
Evening trip on July 26, 2022 • 4 adults • 1 child
Our trip was originally booked for the evening. Captain Joe reached out to suggest going earlier because of the tides. We agreed and what a great decision it was. Captain Joe knew my boys wanted to catch a shark and he made it happen. The smile in the picture says it all. After shark fishing for a few hours, we caught our own bait and continued fishing for black drum. It was a great experience for my family. Captain Joe was great guide, is very knowledgeable, and was great with my boys. He answered all their questions…and they asked a lot of them. I would highly recommend Captain Joe. I know we’ll be back. There’s even talk about going back again this week.

5 Hour Trip – Inshore PM on July 19, 2022 • 4 adults • 2 children
Trip was fun. I talked with captain Joe before we left the dock about what we were going to fish for, and he said it was going to be a tough bite with the muddy water. I asked if he would be able to put my son and his friend on a shark and he did. We weren’t able to land either one, but the kids got to fight a shark and they each loved it. Captain Joe then put us on some flounder and redfish and trout. The two boys caught a few fish each and they were happy. Joe warned us it would be a tough bite and I greatly appreciate that as an avid fisherman. I knew what to expect. Overall, captain Joe was a great guide. I would highly recommend him for a guided trip.

Second time fishing with Captain Joe and will be back next year.it took a little while longer to get on the fish this time out but he got us on them and we had a great time!!
