    Great Striper Trip

    4.5 Hr Trip – Blues and Bass - AM • 4 adults

    Wonderful new boat and very well run operation. Really appreciated that they had caught live bait before they picked us up, so we were ready with it when it was needed and didn't have to spend part of our time catching bait. Our family is a mix of more and less experienced anglers and they coached on fishing technique rather than taking the pole, hooking the fish and handing it back to one of us to reel it in. Been on several striper charters on the Cape. This one we're coming back to. Nicely done guys!

    Great first time!

    4 HR Black Sea Bass(May 17-June 1) • 2 adults

    Today my friend and I got to try something new! We had a great day catching black sea bass. The weather turned out perfect. Scott and Jake were very professional, super knowledgeable and very fun to fish with. Scott was easy to communicate with, and made my life easy when finding a boat launch. They made sure we were always on top of fish and made sure our lines were always tight. Overall a wonderfull expierience, and we do plan on going back. Any anglers hesitant on who to fish with should choose Ortus Charters!

    Another great day on the water with Ortus!

    4.5 Hr Trip – Blues and Bass - AM • 2 adults

    It was great to fish with Scott and Ortus charters again. The day began with wind and waves but Scott covered some ground and employed multiple tactics to get us on fish. Later it cslmed down and we found a honey hole and a coiple presentations that the fish couldn’t resist! Scott always works hard to put fish in tge boat for his clients. Wr left with great memories, striped bass fillets and the bonus squid were a nice addition! We will fish with Ortus again!

    Half day with Ortus Charters - highly recommend!

    4.5 Hr Trip – Blue and Bass-PM

    Scott was outstanding from start to finish. He was personable, prompt and fantastic with my two boys making the trip enjoyable for everyone. Communication was excellent and he was flexible with changing weather conditions to ensure we had the best experience possible. His boat was clean and well maintained and his assistant Jay did a great job as well. We’re very glad we chose Scott’s charter and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

    Great crew and experience

    4.5 Hr Trip – Blues and Bass - AM • 5 adults • 3 children

    This was the first charter for my family of 5. We had a great time on the water. Scott and and his first mate, Ed, were experienced and made the trip enjoyable while also educating us on the different techniques. Despite the fish not biting, every effort was made. We will definitely be returning for a future fishing charter with Ortus Charters!

    This was a awesome trip! Stripers! we took our granddaughter and boyfriend who had never been before! W caught at least 8 or 9, with 2 keepers! Captain and mate where excellent. We would definitely recommend them!

    Scott had us hooked up to a fish within the first half hour. He did an awesome job of switching things up if the bite got slow and had everything ready so that there was no down time. Highly recommend Ortus charters!

    Scott and Ed really worked hard to make sure we had a memorable experience. When the fishing was slow they tried all different gear and strategies to ensure everyone caught fish. We caught some HUGE stripper and had a blast. Looking forward to our next trip with Scott.

    We had an amazing Father's day on the water and everyone caught fish!!! Captain Scoot is genuinely one of the nicest guys you could meet. It was our second time, will not be our last!!!

    Awesome trip, Scott was very communicative and made the whole process so seamless. Once we hit the water it was “Fish on” with double hook ups and a PR stripers!!! There was no shortage of excitement. Once we hit our slots,Scott rushed us to a flounder spot and had us reeling them in! Cant say enough about how much of a blast we had ouy there!     Our circle of friends and family had been fishing with the same captain for years until a medical event took him out of the game. Enter Captain Scott. He really put in a ton of work to make sure I gave my in-laws a great first time trip up to the Cape, changing our points of departure to make sure we were going to be catching fish. We caught a ton of striped bass and even bagged 3 keepers off of Monomoy. Scott did an amazing job and so did Ed. I can't recommend them enough. We will be using them going forward.

Fast and furious action!

Had a half day trip for bass off of Provincetown and we landed multiple striped bass on light tackle and lead core. This charter guest went home with dinner. Corey was a tired puppy after 2 days!

Bluefin Tuna success

Fished about 15 miles off Provincetown MA. Landed bluefin tuna on back to back days. One Recreational siz e fish of 71 inches and one hiant at 90 inches that was released die to a no sell day. Both trips had the guests landing their first bluefin ever

One of the thrills of what i get to do is watching someone who has never caught a fish in the ocean, land their first one! The women in red, Ari had never caught anthing from the ocean before. We taught her how to cast, battle it and we helped her get it into the boat. Pure joy on her face! Over 20 fish landed today with 5 keepers and one over
